Went through the drive through ordered #7 with the fries upgraded to large and once I get my food they hand me my fries that are half empty! So I had my husband go inside and tell them I need them to remake me a Large because that is what I paid for and they accused us of eating them. Pretty sure they could look back at their cameras and see that's how they handed me them in the bag. Also I did look in my bag to see if maybe the fries fell out but no only about 4 fell out. Is this really how they speak to paying customers? Accusing them? Wouldn't recommend, will be making the drive to 135.

Okay so up until now I have eaten at this steak and shake several times and the food has always been decent. I mean I've eaten there several times, it was my go to for late nights , its only a mile from my home and Im a fan of the brand. Tonight , however, I've had an experience that I thought was only real in the movies or you know crappy teenage books . My wife worked late so I went down and ordered our usual : 2 number ones. First one I always get loaded with no tomato and chili cheese fries. Second one is loaded with no onions and onion rings. Well when I got home I find that my chili cheese fries and my sandwich both were cold, her food was fine and she ate it happily while I called the store. I am from the manager of the situation and asked if I could come down for a replacement and he said sure come on down. So I ventured back out into the cold and headed back to the store. When I got there I went to the counter and I informed the clerk and then she went and got the manager and everything seemed to be going fine, I even went to the kiosk and ordered a shake since I had kinda wanted one earlier and knew that I had to wait. I wasn't upset or rude and the manager was friendly and understanding, literally no big deal in fast food, happens all the time , business as usual. My shake was mm and it was perfect . No problem. While waiting I did hear someone say oh the chili cheese fries guys here tell him something I couldn't quite make it out you know and I I just talked it up to you know kids whatever it's Friday night you know he's just being salty because he felt like the chili cheese fries he made were adequate and unfortunately they were not you know so he probably said something I couldn't quite hear it. Once again I chalked it up it's no big deal. The manager was cool I was cool I figured there was nothing to worry about I hadn't been rude or upset at all. I got my food and you know I think the manager and he thanked me we both told each other to have a good evening and out to where I went. Short ride home and back in the house, get my sandwich out and then the surprise. If I pulled it from the rapper juice ran down my fingers in hand on my elbow. In shock I look to realize that the entire bottom bun was dripping wet with what appeared to be water or something. Wat too much to be saliva but still definitely not appetizing . Then I open the chili cheese fries and was aghast at the horrendous concoction in front of me. Far far West as cold limp nudity nastiness Way beyond what I had returned. Clearly soft lamp in and just I don't know it was just bad it looked like the chili and cheese have just been slapped in there and then I don't know there's just soggy loose fries that were not even I mean clearly undercooked. Having lost my appetite, I was no longer concerned with having food replaced. Honestly I wasn't really concerned about having the $8 or $9 whatever refund it me and my wife's food seem to be fine..... However I was offended that I had you know been attacked now so I did call the manager. When I called him I said you know man I know that it wasn't you, because you were very cool and professional. I just informed him of the state of the sandwiches and the fries, I said I no longer had an appetite but that he should probably keep a weathered eyes on his guys. He apologized and thanked me for informing him, and we hung up. I wasn't going to try to pursue anything further with the store, I just figured you know I'm not going to patronize it again and I just hope that that manager guy knew who the culprit was and informed all of them of the severity of such action and the repercussions that could result. Also the damage to the reputation of the store that such actions can cause. Personally I'll just drive the extra miles to get to the store in beach grove , that was already better in every category anyway, I'll never patronize this location again though. I came in late 11:40 but was bullied by the 'manager' and his two companions who were supposed to be working. They instead made me feel completely unwelcome and wouldn't even help me place an order. Basically told me to leave because he wanted to go home. Will not be returning and neither will my friend. this is exactly why Steak and Shake is struggling as a company. Do better and hire better managers.

I went through hoping to get just a steak burger but the cashier somehow talked me into a quadruple with cheese and bacon and it has changed my life. I’ve lived in Greenwood my whole life, this location used to be absolute garbage, I don’t know who took over but everything was fresh, the staff isn’t stock piled with children, 5 freaking stars.

All I can is kudos to whomever took over this particular steaknshake. I had previously given up eating here. In the past, food was mediocre, small fries....just overall terrible. Decided to give them one last chance. It's the old steaknshake we all loved! No skimping on fixing. Food is great and hot. You can tell the burgers are assembled with care...not just slapped together. Employees are curteous and friendly. Again, thank you to the current owners for making a comeback!

This place sucks more then a vacum with a turbo engine. The bathroom was so disgusting peeing on the floor would have cleaned it. Helen Keller could have seen how gross this place was. It looks like they haven't cleaned the floor since it opened. I had to wipe my shoes on the driveway to clean them. The employees were fine tho.
