The chicken was a little dry you could tell it had been setting for a while. However, it was not greasy, still had a good taste. It was a little over peppered. The mac n cheese had a decent portion, the mashed potatoes were sad with three scoops. Glad we didn't have four people eating they would have been left out. I really wanted to try the biscuits they looked like they were homemade. Sadly they were covered in syrup. Would have been nice to be told we were being charged $1.41 extra bc we used a card.

The fried chicken was really cool l good. The skin was crispy and the meat was moist. The mashed potatoes were good, but I would have preferred dark gravy. The Mac and cheese was ok. The biscuits had a honey glaze on them that was really good.

Over priced, no flavor for the chicken 2pc and side w drunk 13$, tenderloin was chewy and tuff. Never again..over priced garbage..no pictures gave to my neighbors dogs and went to jj fish and chicken ..smh

I love the food here but definitely a little disappointed to walk in 15 minutes prior to closing and be told they won’t make any food. If you wanna close at 7:45, just make that your closing time. I didn’t want to give my money to Popeyes but that’s what I ended up doing. You’d think as tough as the economy and how much people preach to support small business that maybe the small business would care a little more. Oh well, spent my $60 somewhere else 🤷🏼♂️

I'm new to the Indy/Greenwood so my co workers have taken it upon themselves to show me all the best hole in the wall places in the area because i brag about the food joints back where im from and heck who wants drive thru if you dont have to? We've been doing this for a couple months now so we've been to more than a few to say the least. I wish that this would have been the first restraunt they showed me so I could have been eating here this whole time while i check out everywhere else. I honestly cant say Btown has a real chicken place like Sunnys. If you are reading this because you just happened here from a search and you want friend chicken this is a no brainer get chicken from here. I can safely say, unless its your family member that makes your favorite fried chicken you arent going to better than here. Heck this is better than your family members The chicken is amazing and you'll swear it free ranged in the 100 acre woods its more tender than christopher robbin leaving the woods. Screw the colonel herbs and spices, popeyes too. Sunnys seasoning and breading puts any of the other ones in the search results to shame.

Sorry I really like it here but please chef change your gloves every time that you need to your cross contaminating…please change your gloves your touching a lot of things then touching raw chicken just by opening the fringes is cross contaminating
I got the tenderloin. Breading wasn't cooked all the way. It was soggy, and flavorless..except for the salt and only what i can assume is dirty cooking oil. My bun was pressed very firmly onto the tenderloin...squished. The Mac n cheese was terrible. Way too well done...or old. Absolutely no flavor except there was this flavor that tasted like used noodle water. It's been about 2 years since I have been here. the food was Fantastic then. :/

I literally was one of the first few customers when this place opened many many years ago, They are best known for the very juicy and perfectly cooked chicken,, I do not eat at any other chicken place as of yet, this is the best on the Southside of Indianapolis.They have the best chicken.
