Amazing service at Yia Yias every time we visit! Very welcoming and kind owners and staff who treat our family so well. Breakfast food is the best in Greenwood.

Homemade hollandaise sauce is divine
I’ve been to Yiayias before and every time I’ve enjoyed the food. This time when I got a scramble, the veggies were completely raw inside. Normally I don’t say anything about my food and just eat it but unfortunately I just could not do the raw mushrooms and onions. I told my waitress and she immediately reassured me that she would remedy the situation. The owner/manager came over to apologize, comp the meal, AND make me something new to eat. I went with some eggs and sausage to keep it simple. She came back multiple times to make sure I was happy with the food (which I was), spoke with us in a friendly manner about our little girl, and even held her for a bit. It was such a beautiful, family oriented dining experience. She also gave us a free dessert. To say we were taken care of would honestly be an understatement. They treated us like friends/family. I always loved this breakfast joint and it now holds a piece of my heart.

my family and i love going here but today when my boyfriend and i went (under the name brad), we were seated and explained that it would be a few minutes as our waitress had a larger party. that’s totally fine! but after 30 minutes (we were seated at 11:10 and left at 11:43) no one came to take our drink order or even checked on us to let us know it would be a little longer. tables around us were being served but we were just sitting there feeling forgotten :( we will be going back here as the food is very good and we’ve never had a problem before, but today we felt very disappointed in our experience and wanted to share.
We had a wonderful brunch here! Food was excellent and the service from Julie was very friendly and courteous. The avocado delight was delicious too. Danielle was also very helpful with our little one who went out of her way to accommodate us. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the great experience 😁

we decided to eat here on labor day, we ordered french toast, the 5 star skillet and krepes, and a waffle and omg it all was so so good. My 5 star skillet was so dog gone good, food was all hot, we sat fast and establishment was very clean.

Restaurantji Recommends
First time eating at Yiayias House of Pancakes. Not too bad. Quite a good amount of food. I tried the 5 star skillet, there was a lot of food in it but needed gravy as it was a little dry…. So I added my moms lol

My first visit here was like a week ago. I wanted a traditional breakfast so I ordered 2 pancakes with eggs and grits. I'm not sure what was going on with the pancakes from the moment I touched the top one to lift it to put butter on the second pancake it fell completely apart every attempt I made. I finally got butter on both pancakes and poured syrup over to see if they tasted okay or not. The pancakes did taste good what does syrup on but the whole falling apart turn me off from pancakes, maybe it is the recipe? I had a very friendly & young waitress so I stopped her and told her about the pancakes, she said
ppl come to eat other stuff mainly & if I wanted something else and I said yes please some french toast. (Already ate my egg and grits) The French toast was good if I was to never know about sweet brioche bread. A lot of restaurants are using brioche bread for their French toast because it is sweeter, & taste better but this French toast was made from Texas toast as I guessed & confirmed with the waitress. I checked out my bill up front at the counter and I think it was the manager and she was very nice however when I mentioned my pancakes falling apart she was just kind of baffled... I took pictures, this is not me cutting the pancakes up...the pancakes taste good (I took a couple bites) despite falling apart, but I've never had pancakes fall apart like that at any restaurant Ive visited in my life. I would suggest either a better recipe for the pancakes or changing the name...

Came for breakfast with my bff. She had the yiayias big breakfast with a side of swirl rye toast. I had the opa frittata with a side of raisin toast. We were both really digging the bread. Great atmosphere. Only 4 stars because nothing is perfect. Always room to improve.
