It was a waste of time. Came after work for a birthday. His id expired on his birthday, cool, didn’t want to accept the paper id cool. Moved us from the bar area to the dinning area next to a long, loud table and doesn’t come back. Had to find the waitress so we can cancel the alcohol order and just switch to to-go. Waited for almost two hours and only get a glass of water and the chips. The waitress comes and hands us the check and says she’ll be right back with our food. 45 minutes later shes doesn’t even come back to charge us. Decided that we were just going to leave and as we get up a male waiter says “thank you”. I’m so poised I wasted my time here, it was only two of us.

OMG! The food is fresh & delicious. The staff is friendly, and the tequila selection is exquisite. This is a MUST go-to restaurant on your Indiana trip. Whether you live in Indiana or just passing thru, Asada's is a place where you won't be disappointed.

i used to always tell everyone that this was the best mexican restaurant in NWI and it’s worth the expensive price. This time, the sopes were mini, smaller than my hand. The asada had no flavor, the rice and beans lacked flavor and the lettuce looked old, starting to brown, same with the guacamole. I ordered a jamica and it was extremely bitter, i had to order a water to mix it on my own. I’m very disappointed, I will not recommend this place again. I don’t know if management changed or their standards. Also the tables and booths were sticky, just an overall bad experience.
Love love love the Ranchera Suiza. (Skirt steak smothered in cheese. Comes with beans and rice.) Order it medium rare.. To DIE for. Frozen margaritas usually aren't my thing but I order the raspberry and you can't taste the tequila and it'll get you a nice buzz. (Granted I'm 115 lbs.) Great atmosphere, great servers. Refill on chips are $2, just fyi. Think this is new. Salsa tastes fresh though so worth it! (And barely any spiciness, which is perfect for me)

Downtown Chicago Prices in Griffin…for tacos…
I ordered red snapper taco dinner. The food was very tastier than the last time I was here about 4 years ago. However, the fish was a bit tough and it only had 3-4 small chunks in each taco. The meal came to almost $18. With those prices the portions should be bigger.

Love Asada. Our server was great. However, Yesterday evening they lost internet service, and so, lost credit card use. We were dining with friends and were forced to run out to nearest cash machine for funds. Of course we were charged $6.50 in fees for use of non network cash machine. Asada apologized, but made no attempt to provide compensation. At the least 10% should have been deducted from bill! Crappy business practice!!
