Very upset. Had to drive all the way back over there yesterday because they put honey sauce on my food instead of the mild sauce I had asked for. Then when they remade it. They only gave me a 4 piece chicken instead of replacing the 6 piece. On top of that, they offered no compensation for the inconvenience. Seeing as I couldn’t even eat my food on Friday night when I purchased it and had to wait the following day to be able to make the trip back over there to get my replacement. Just terrible.

Damn honeys! What I ever do to you? I paid for extra sause. 95 cents worth and get a little extra poured on my chicken? No more little containers? What about the shot size container that the Cole slaw comes in. Just enough to get stuck between my teeth but not be able to enjoy it, and no more food containers? Just a soggy ass paper food tray wrapped in a soggy ass paper bag? Inflation is hitting pretty bad when food comes like this.. food is great but lack of actual cup of extra sause is BS especially since you think less than a shot is worth 95 cents. And can't even put it all in a container that won't fall apart within 20 minutes.
Got to get by their way before they close,...Can't catch them before closing time....Heard the food is off the chain

First time at Honeys. The lady at counter was Very nice and friendly. Food came out pretty quick. The Chicken, shrimp, fries, and the Honey sauce was Awesome!!! I will be back!! I Highly Recommend HONEYS for Amazing food!!!

9/10/24 This is why sometimes you have to try places for yourself!! I went yesterday and not only did I enjoy the service from the friendly young lady at the front counter, the inside was open and clean, and the chicken was some of the BEST I’ve had in a while! I’m from the west side of Chicago and this place reminded me of my favorite hood spots, the ones where you just know you’re gonna get some good food! I purchased the 6 wing meal, which comes with fries and bread [coleslaw upon asking] and ensured I got their signature Honey sauce (compare it to mild sauce but it’s nothing like mild sauce at the same time). The wings are not too tiny and not too big, perfect size! I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor, but because I got the sauce, I am unsure how the wings taste alone. But that sauce??? Baby they could bottle it up and sell it, it’s that good! It is sticky (honey based), sweet, and savory at the same time. There were plenty of fries and sauce to cover both. The wait was only about 15-20 minutes as they cook to order, but it’s worth it because after getting home 15 minutes later it was still steaming hot! I’ll be back there today in fact to get it again.
9/12/24 I’m updating this from 2 days ago to say I went back a second time and it was consistent for me. I ordered an 8 wing the next visit and got it the same way. The service was friendly and the cashier even remembered me, and the chicken was crispy - fresh - and delicious.

First time trying Honey's Chicken and I'm definitely going back. There is no place to eat inside, so you have to take your food to go. The service was great, the place looked very clean and the food was amazing.
