After working 7 days a week for weeks on end, at a highly patronized local establishment, my daughter met me at the Rock and Rails to watch the Taylor Swift revolution. We were looking for a place to sit, and seen the tavern. We asked the bartender if it was okay if we had drinks, sat at a table in the entryway and watched the concert. She said yes. Taylor Swift was playing in the bar, the overhead door was open to the sidewalk. Lots of ppl were bringing in outside food, which we did not. We kindly, invited a cpl other ladies to sit with us (who also bought drinks). At one point someone tapped me and asked me to move the table bcus it was blocking the entryway. I simply stated that this is how the owners had it when we walked up to which I was told 'I Am THE OWNER'. He then grabbed my shoulder, twice, as I got up to leave and said I was being hostile. I was so confused, we had 2 drinks each, I went to pay my tab and left. I am literally made fun of for my high, delicate voice. If you don't want ppl to watch from your establishment, or sing along(as a Swiftie does) close the door. You ruined the little time I have off acting small and your inability to communicate. You will run into me at my establishment and realize I deal with tons of ppl everyday. Still, being the kind person I am, I left your bartenders a tip. After all YOU are their boss, poor things.

Good food, but a bit pricey. $17 for a chicken sandwich is a bit much, especially considering what you really get. While not reflected in my overall rating, I was very disappointed they were out of sprouts. I'd be interested in dining in at some point, just for a second chance. I like BBQ, so that's a given star. I hope service improves and/or prices drop, that would warrant another star.

1st time we decided to stop in and have dinner. Wasn't to bad, I would go back for a second try another time.

I'm not the person to normally negatively review an establishment, especially a local franchise. I came here on a Friday night with my partner. There weren't a lot of people or to-go orders. Our drinks were putrid, so we ordered beers instead. The service was very slow. Getting our food took an hour, with items missing at first. It took 30 minutes to get our check, which we had to ask for twice.Worst of all was the cleanliness. I had to request 3 consecutive times for clean water glasses. There was debris in them. The food wasn't anything to write home about. I would not recommend this place, which pains me to say given with it's proximity.

Arrived at 6pm on a Saturday, after drinking water with stale chips for an hour we just walked out. No sorry for your wait or explanation. No idea what the issue was but was not expecting that!

Brisket entree with Mac and Cheese was excellent with the mild True BBQ sauce. Waitress was very attentive and efficient.

I Took my family out for St Patrick’s day dinner. We loved the food at the Crown Point location so we drove to the Griffith location. We asked the waitress if they had Corned Beef. She said yes, and we ordered the half plate corned beef and turkey. After 15 mins she came back and said they were out of turkey and recommended brisket and we agreed. After 20 mins a young man came to our table and told us they were out of all BBQ MEATS except pork. We just left after wasting 40 mins of our evening. Why did it take so long to tell us you were out of the food we asked about when we came in? Why recommend Brisket when you didn’t have any? Seems like the staff is never prepared for people wanting to eat a meal. -We will never eat at a True Whisky again.

Getting one star for good drinks. Food was terrible. Dry, cold and flavorless.

drinks were good but we got the 2 meat plate with two sides. the Mac and cheese was the only decent and warm item. brisket was cold and very dry. mashed potatoes were very cold, watery and flavorless. rib tips, you guessed it - cold and extremely fatty. spent 60 bucks on 2 drinks and Mac and cheese basically.

I am vegan, and this place is absolutely awesome! They know their whiskey, all vegan items are amazing, I love it. Service is caring, knowledgeable, and overall just an EXCELLENT experience!

Service was very good. I had an old fashion. Not bad for a 12 dollar drink.

ordered the brisket with mashed potatoes. 70% of the brisket was fat and un edible. so I ended up paying $27 for two small pieces of edible brisket not a good deal.
