Would not recommend this place. Country View and then The Forge was so much better before eight top came in, and what kind of name is eight top??. St Leon Tavern and Klump’s both in the general area of eight top have fried chicken that tastes better and more reasonably priced and never raw like the chicken served at eight top. The food is mediocre, inconsistent from one time to the next and most of it is microwaved. Their hours are very inconsistent as well. They close before the hours posted. They don’t have the first clue about running a business. Doubt it will be in business within the next couple years. Need a health inspector to look at the place too.

Was out second choice after driving to saint leons to find out they were closed. Turns out 8 top was too. Why wouldn’t you update your google listing to reflect your hours?!

8Top did an amazing job hosting the 8th grade Trojan football team! Great taco bar buffet and plenty of room for the boys to hang and have fun on the back field! Definitely recommend!

I have tried eight top consistently, and almost every time I have been disappointed. It’s located conveniently to my home and that’s why I have chosen to come back. I have always enjoyed the deserts, and I highly recommend them.
Today, I tried something new on the menu (fried chicken) and I was served raw chicken.I ate a good portion of it, and got toward the middle and it was raw. I understand accidents happen. Chicken should always be temped before being served. This is a serious liability on eight tops part. I understand this was new to the menu, but staff should be knowledgeable on food safety before serving it to patrons.
My server was really nice when I let her know the issue. I also returned my fork. I was not comfortable eating with the fork since it was contaminated. Along with my sides - anything on that plate was contaminated.
I asked for new sides because they were contaminated. And I was charged for sides. I tried to explain to my server why I wasn’t comfortable eating them. I don’t think she quite understood, and questioned why I wouldn’t eat the sides. Considering the fact I still payed for the meal (replacement was comped) - I don’t understand why I had to pay for an extra side.
I also noticed the owner was present, and didn’t say anything to me till we were walking out. I know that she was genuine, but that was a major slip up. I think next time I would encourage the owner / manager to come out to the table when the food comes out. She was nice and gave me a $5 off $25 coupon for the next visit, but respectfully I will have to decline returning.
I have sadly have already started to get GI problems.
I do not make reviews often, however I feel like this is something people should take into considerations when choosing for a place to eat.
I hope that eight top can continue to grow as a business, and continue to expand food safety skills. I never want to see a business fail.

The staff at Eight Top is absolutely amazing! It's a nice place to hang out and grab a good bite to eat. While you're there, go ahead and grab yourself a nice cold beer! The owners are amazing people and everyone is extremely nice and friendly! Just a quick stop off the interstate.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around.

One of the best places I’ve ever been to, great atmosphere, fantastic staff and the food is so good! Love the people they bring in, local musicians are quality and never a disappointment!

Had the Cajun grouper with cheesy grits. Loved it so delicious. Also had the the pretzel which was huge and the beer cheese olwas very good . Highly recommend this place
