This place is really a treasure. It has a "back in the day" feeling without being old. You can order from the menu or have their smorgasbord and both are outstanding. The bar area is top notch as well.

Sunday Buffett is cheaper but for good reason. Food has gone downhill. We went last weekend and were disappointed. Rather than saucy meatballs they have plain meatloaf, no sauce and cheap fatty ham pieces. Items lacking on salad bar and haven't seen onion soup available for quite awhile. Fried chicken is still good, however. Mediocre food but you can get plenty if you want it. We didn't. Not anxious to go back. I'm sure everyone misses the former Welliver's.

This is a true American buffet style restaurant! The interior of the building is full of decorative paintings with a large sense of nostalgia to early America. The interior of the building also provides a very large layout for larger parties and handicapped accessible. The buffet provides a very large variety of cuisine from Swedish meatballs, fried chicken, fresh fish, mashed potatoes and gravy, and much more! My personal favorite is the dessert portion of the buffet, which gives a very large selection of pies, cobbler, cake, brownies and ice cream!! It is 100% worth the drive the Hagerstown, IN for this classic place!

Mashed potatoes was worse I ever had..chicken was over done..roast beef was over done no flavor..greenbeans was no flavor
We’ve been wanting to try this for years and finally did tonight. We were SO disappointed. Canned carrots, canned corn, instant mashed potatoes, old dried out fried chicken and shrimp and nothing had any flavor at all. If you’re looking for amazing croutons though, this is your place.
