Very nice clean quiet place. The food was excellent. Big portions for the price. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
A quaint little place to eat in Henryville, IN. My friends went before going to IGA meat sale. My friends had fish and I had chicken strips and onion rings. All good. Strips a little too done, but still good.
Basic little town diner. Came for a brunch date. Was cheerfully greeted and grabbed an open seat. Got menus, and waited 15 mins for her to come back to our table…why? Because there was a couple that came in after us, that she sat, took drink order, got drinks, got food order, entered that, and countless other task.Yes. She was a tiny busy. I gave benefit of the doubt until she waited in the table that came in after us first, before even giving us drinks. Then when I asked for a piece of French toast instead of a pancake on my meal, which she said I could, I was then charged for a whole order (and received) that I was not wanting. (Luckily I ate it anyways)I wanna say I loved this little place. But Dairy Queen’s biscuits are better than theirs :( the gravy was good flavored. But could have been thinned out and not as thick. 37$ for two people to eat breakfast..coffee could be a little more robust, too.I give the lady still an a for effort cause it was just her..but I probably won’t be back :/
Food was great! Daughter said her Salisbury steak best she ever had. Fried cod was good as was the Eden special. Service was great! Nice hometown place!
Parking: Plenty of spots.
Going to be one of our favorites!!!! Awesome homemade food, clean facility, and friendly service. Specials every day of the week.
Wonderful place to eat! Very sweet employees, who go above and beyond to make sure you enjoyed your food! The food was delicious too!
If I could give no stars I would !!! We were waited on , and sat at our table for over 30 minutes waiting on our meals to arrive .. never happened . The waitress never returned to our table after serving our drinks . We watched 3 other tables be served after we had been there for a total of 40 minutes. They made sure all their other customers were served yet never wondered why we never had anything in front of us . I even had to approach the counter and tell our waitress we were leaving.Ridiculous!!!!Every customer that walks through that door is a paying customer . It is your duty as a waitress to check on your tables. Thank you for showing us our money is better off spent supporting a big fast food chain then a small town family business.
This was the second time my wife and I went here to eat. The last time was a few months back and was pretty decent because we actually got to eat what we ordered. This time if there was a no star rating then that's what I would give. We came in and our waitress took our drink order. She took our order when she brought back the drinks and that was the last time she came to our table. Two other families came in 5 to 10 mins after us had their orders taken and got their food. While we sat there with nothing. That is ridiculous. Our waitress would look over at us and not once wonder why she was bringing everyone else's food out but ours. We had enough after over 30mins we were done and left. Reading other reviews and seeing a response from the owner stating "orders are made to order in the order they are received " is not accurate. If this was the case my wife and I would have gotten our dinner before the other 2 tables.
A small town, family restaurant...probably 8 tables in dinning room total. Laid back, quiet atmosphere. I enjoyed the original paintings hanging along the walls...someone is very talented. I think most menu items are homemade...seems a bit pricy though for a small town.
Wonderful selection and prices! Was able to feed my 4 person family PLUS surprising my mother and father-in-law with breakfast as well for around $50 and that was with extras and large portions. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and I didn't have to wait for more coffee or really anything at all! This will definitely be one of our go-to places for the family from now on!

Just ate there for first time. Biscuits and gravy was gross. It's like left over from a week ago. Very greasy. I won't get breakfast there again that's for sure. Spent $20 for two people and I just wasted my momey
Missed a highway exit and ended up here. I have never been happier to have missed an exit.Traveling for work and needed wifi with breakfast. Julie told me to come on in and gave me the password. Julie also provided me outstanding service and a darn tasty breakfast. The whole vibe of the place was great, filled with local folks having conversation over coffee.I’ll be back for sure. Don’t go changing that wifi password ?
Excellent, home-cooked food, large portions, and served with a smile. We had a wonderful lunch experience here last week. The fried chicken salad is huge and filling. They also have ice cream, and we finished off our meal with a soft serve cone. Best tasting soft serve I've had in awhile. Thank you for a great meal!
In love with the ice cream here. Originally went to look for the radio stations treasure but found a beautifully inviting little down home kitchen. I love it. The people are super friendly and make you feel as if it's your own kitchen.
Stopped at Huckleberry's (named for the owners) for late lunch after finding it on Trip Advisor. Outside building is not beautiful, but inside is nice, clean, homey, and welcoming. Table service is friendly, helpful, and efficient. Food is wonderful Mid-West classics. Everything we had was delicious (pork tenderloin sandwich, pork chop dinner, vegetables, potato soup, butterscotch pie, strawberry cheesecake, coffee). The owner, who is also the cook, dropped by to chat, adding to the down-home atmosphere. This place is great and everything is made in house.
