Went here for a light dinner. Dining in is limited, so if you have a large group, you should see if you can reserve in advance. Drinks are canned. Ordered from appetizer menu and everything was fresh. Will be back again to try main menu items.

My wife and I visited here about two weeks ago and I am still having withdrawals - we can't wait to get back to town to enjoy another meal here - Maria is a Saint and has a heart of gold - her food is fresh, clean and omg that lemonade! ❤️ highly recommend going here vs the other places in the region - 100% perfecto!

the steak tacos were really good! the tortillas seem homemade which was nice. i got tacos and agua de jamaica which was perfect for me. not too sweet. it does cater to white people it seems. no horchata was a little surprising for an authentic mexican restaurant. but if you ask for tacos with cebolla y cilantro they do it. so i would still recommend it

We stopped at Maria's Buena Cocina for lunch on the way back to Indy. The food was fantastic. Everything is homemade there. The family that owns the restaurant is awesome. They are so friendly and caring. We can't wait to stop back!

There weren’t any entrees which were vegan, but it was easy to modify existing items to make them vegan. Maria is a delight! Also the guacamole was among the best we’ve eaten!
If you like very spicy food, maybe bring some hot sauce with you?
