This is my new local go-to burrito establishment... There are some better, but they are 30+ mins away. I like the flavors, they are good, but not over bearing, or bland. I had one Mexican restaurant actually not use salt?! I'm like I get it you don't know what people like, but nobody goes to a Mexican restaurant to get food not spicy! These people do, but not crazy hot. So I like them.

In my continued search for delicious Mexican style cuisine, I stumbled upon Mas Tacos in Highland. I had never tried this spot before but have heard good things about it. I ordered the steak and chicharron tacos with onion and cilantro. I am happy to report that they were delicious! The steak tacos (left pic) were juicy and tender. The chicharron taocs (right pic) were a textural delight! They were pleasantly chewy and fatty. I was pleasantly surprised by the red salsa, which had a nice fiery kick! I'll certainly make my way back here for future visits.

The culinary experience was exceptional, offering a truly memorable dining experience. We recommend arriving shortly after the restaurant opens at approximately 11:00 AM to minimize wait times. However, as the day progresses, the wait time will increase. The quality of the cuisine makes the wait worthwhile. I had the steak nachos and the birria tacos. Simply amazing food and dedication to their craft of cooking. I will definitely be back!

I don’t know if this place is a family owned business but this place lacks professionalism. They open whenever they want to despite their posted hours. They randomly close in the middle of the day for an entire hour and their hours are 11am - 6pm. Honestly, people need to stop supporting this business. They do not respect their customers, people will travel 30+ minutes just to get there and see a random handwritten sign in the door that will say closed and returning an hour or so later (Keep in mind they don’t open on time). Their food is good, but it isn’t worth the hassle.
Please don’t try to call, they may answer the phone for you once every two weeks. Save yourself a trip and go elsewhere because they act like a bunch of Jive Turkeys.
