In Times Like These, I surely could use a lil more comfort food! I opened with the loaded baked potato soup. Yum ! Bacon ! Homemade meatloaf with mashed taters and gravy. Capped off with house made orange sherbet. This family eatery has been serving the city of Highland IN since 1932 !! Thank you for great service Lacey !
Now.... the problem is only that I went to a hamburger place and got meatloaf... lol... gotta go back to try the burgers. However, I know that the ladies at the next table were quite happy with their burgers..and the place was jumpin on a weekday. Cya next time

Ice cream was good. Hamburgers were just okay. The place was filthy actually. It’s the Waffle House of the North. Even Waffle Houses in the South were cleaner. Price was good if you can’t afford Culver’s or a locally owned restaurant. I suggest to visit a local brewery to get a good burger in Northwest Indiana. Other options nowadays.
