Second time at the St. John location. Been to the original location multiple times. We had the server named Sam. She was rude. Our service was not good at all whatsoever. Every time I see her at the highland location she’s always sitting down at the table on her phone or gossiping behind the bar with the bartender. I was there on Sunday and saw her (it looked like the other two servers were a little busy and needed help) she was sitting at the table and bar, drinking the entire time instead of being a team player and helping them out. I believe our server’s name was Nathalie that night and she had disappeared so the other server took care of us for a moment and we appreciated her. They were both awesome. The only reason why we recognize Sam is because she is always there, drinking, gossiping, and on her phone. It’s not hard to recognize those kind of employees. I see her drinking or hungover majority of the time instead of being a good employee. She doesn’t care about her appearance either. We will request to not have her at either location. Hopefully Alex can get this specific employee in line, or out of there. Do better, Rbar! Food is great, but the servers AND bartenders ***** ESPECIALLY ***** the ones that have been there for YEARS, need better attitudes.

So, brought my friend here for lunch for her 56th birthday. While our server seemed preoccupied on her phone, not excited to be there and was standoffish, me being old school, thought let me give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she's introverted. Looked past all the uninterested, non friendly standoffish and pretty much showing rudeness, I kept at being overly nice. Though it was highly uncomfortable. Had to find her several times just to get service or to cash out. every time looked bored and interrupted to disturb her texting. . I gave 10 percent, which i usually give 40 peecent. I find it ironic that when we cashed out she became highly friendly. Like a different person.so i felt bad so i wrote a note on the check. Saying what ive said in this review. Fyi .customer service breaks business. If we spent time saying how rude she was, its more time spent rather than enjoying. She was dark hair. Around 1pm. We made jokes with her and was merely asking about food and the menu, which she had no knowledge and she asked rudely if she should come back. like we were wasting her time to get back to texting . This was a Sunday with no crowd and no bears game No excuse. highly uncomfotable. food was good..

I was in the area and stopped by for a quick bite to eat. The wings were good, service could have been better. One of the bartenders attitude towards me was not very friendly as opposed to how she treated the other people who looked like her. Luckily she was leaving and another short bartender took over and made the experience a little better.

I love the music, the variety of drinks the nice people that are working there always with kindness and humor. The environment is like fast food and I think could be a little different. The 4 stars on food is because it's hard to get something that is not fried or has no bread.

I guess customer service isn’t a thing anymore. This is my second and last time coming to this place. I don’t understand how after a certain time you have to show ID but have a host who is underage take our drink order like she was putting it in but can’t even take the order. Then we get two more waiters who proceeds to take our orders, now I’m frustrated because why no one is communicating on who is waiting on what table. Then I never understood how a bartender act as the manager, a manger is NEVER on duty. The only reason why I’m leaving a star is because our waiter MIA was tentative, nice and friendly. The other waiter who proceeded to take our order had a pissy attitude we tried to call her over to apologize for showing our frustration, she gave us a nasty look and in a nasty way told us to wait she was taking an order but she was talking crap about us to young ladies at a table who also look like waiters. Waiters here need customer service training and an attitude check because my first visit here wasn’t great. I always try to give a place two chances before I say I’m not coming back. Now IM NOT COMING BACK. Visit this place with cautious when dealing with the waiters

I returned to this restaurant on September 9, 2025, at the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately, the issue with the waiter persisted. The waiter informed us that no one wanted to serve us and even advised us not to patronize the business again. Her name is Marianna, and she was extremely rude and disrespectful. The owner, Steve, needs to immediately replace all the waiters in this restaurant. I will be reporting the business to the Better Business Bureau because it’s utterly ridiculous. I’ve met the owner, Steve, before, and he’s nothing like the people who work for him. He should be ashamed of his employees’ behavior. I will be reporting and hopefully, I’ll be able to speak with Steve about his disrespectful bartenders.

But when I’ve called in the past when they first opened to make reservations they told me it was too early in the day for reservations. So make it make sense

My wife and I went this weekend mid afternoon. We were told when walked in they were working on some kitchen issues and it was backed up and would be a delay. We were ok with it no rush. Waitress got our drinks we waited saw a lot of food coming out figured good news we can at least order soon. A large table walks in about 20 minutes after us has same waitress as us. She takes drinks goes back to table takes their food order before ever returning to us or taking our order. I look around manager owner who told us about issue is walking around eating a Chs burger. So you can’t take orders of customers but can walk around eating. At that point we cashed out I hope it was just a bad day but watching staff and management I would guess issues will continue.
