CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY!!! Me and a friend decided to try this place out Tuesday evening. The sign written in chalk at the door said $6 margaritas. We asked to sit outside since it was still beautiful out. They said no because it was dirty due to planting, so we sat at the bar. It wasn't busy at all. There was one guy at the bar, and customers at maybe 3 tables in the dining area. I ask right away how much margaritas are. The woman behind the bar said $8. I decide on the frozen sangria, my friend ordered a pineapple margarita on the rocks. Mine was good, but hers arrived frozen. She liked it, so she didn't ask for a correction. The woman brings us chips and salsa and water. We order our food. My friend orders lamb tacos on corn tortillas. I order steak tacos on corn tortillas. When our food arrives, mine looks fine, but my friends is on flour tortillas. She didn't touch her food, she just waited for the woman to come back so that she could request some corn tortillas. This takes a few minutes after the woman types in the order on her little machine. As I'm eating, I try the green sauce that came with my tacos. I didn't like it so l used the salsa from our chips, which was much better. I asked for more. The woman said there was a charge. I said ok. After my friend re-made her own tacos with the corn tortillas, she began eating. She said they were good; until she pulled a rather large bone of some sort out of her mouth. She didn't want to complain. The woman never asked if we wanted another water or drink. So we finished up and was handed our bill. It seemed high, so we checked to make sure everything was right. The woman had charged us for a strawberry margarita that we didn't order and $3 for corn tortillas that they messed up in the first place! My friend explained that we didn't order an additional margarita, and that she originally ordered her tacos with corn tortillas and that she shouldn't have to pay extra for their mistake. Then the woman said, "Oh. I didn't charge for the salsa, so I'll add that on." As if getting free salsa would make the extra $12 charge acceptable! She corrected the check and added $1.50 on for the salsa. Needless to say, since she's making plenty of money from her shady practice, we did not leave a tip, and we are usually pretty generous tippers. On top of all that, as we were leaving the parking lot, we saw the marquee flash "Tuesdays $6 Margaritas". Annoyed as hell, I tried to call, but there was only a busy signal.

Nobody in our party enjoyed their food. One person managed to finish the salmon tacos. Nachos, elote, Mexican fries, beef tacos horrible. Served our margarita flights in cracked glasses. One person ordered a sprite it was flat and she asked to send it back he said he can't. Then when we complained the waiter got loud over talked us and then said well it's no manager on duty so I can't discount the check. Even tho no discount was asked for bcuz we were already told that. In addition to that he asked us if we enjoyed the food how you mad we didnt enjoy ourselves with your lack luster service and food.

let's start with it was a sunday 530pm and no costomers..and still waited awhile to be seated..the waitress was rude..I spoke to her in english then in Spanish didnt matter...she never came to check on us..are food was cold waiting on lemons ,salsa ketchup ,the shrimp was mushy., chicken flautas were soft n mushy ..I would never recommend .,place was pretty but that's it..terrible food n terrible service..yuck never again

First off let me say if you have specials on the board for that day and we ask about them, you should probably know what it is and if you're serving it. Second waitress was rude and never brought chips and salsa or water. When we asked her it was like a bother. So we left and won't be returning!!

Thieves!!!!! My bill came to $20.97 and since the service was horrible (after being seated, it took almost 10 minutes for someone just to greet me and bring water, another 10 minutes to place my order, and then he never checked on me so I went without a refill my entire meal) I left a $3.50 tip. $24.47, right? Nope - the charge went through for $30.97. Nice way to pad the bill. I'm reporting this as fraudulent. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Waiter named Brandon seems like he could care less. First thing he said to us was “If anyone is getting alcohol, I need ID’s out on the table now” I said “what’s your name??” at least say hello my name is Brandon I will be your server today. Introduce yourself and be friendly. That’s not a good way to start off. They also barely have what is on the menu. At one point someone at our table asked “ “ok what do you have?” When trying to order it is like pulling teeth. We were also told by Brandon “I see some people leaving from your party, just know whoever is behind covers the table” thank you so much for stating the obvious, implying that we would try and skip out on the bill. The food was good but I don’t think we would return to this location. The ones in Chicago are pretty good. The atmosphere was not great due to the impoliteness. We definitely felt prejudged.

What a great place to have lunch, dinner, or just drinks. Excellent tacos and the mango margaritas are delicious! Honestly, a fantastically trendy place with great food!

My experience was totally unpleasant, the food was nothing like Mexican food, they served it cold and the service was terrible, we asked one of the waitresses for a fork and she never brought it, they did not come to ask if we needed anything, but the tip was included in the checks because they know that if it were for the client we would not leave anything, it is an American restaurant to go for drinks only. No recommendations

Samantha was very professional and polished.
Riviera Maya shrimp tacos were delicious. The chipotle aioli sauce was a real treat. The beans and rice were very good as well. Even the coffee (black) was good. You can go to any restaurant and eat or you can go to Riviera Maya in Highland and eat well. Will certainly recommend and will be back👍👍👍👍
