This coffee shop is awesome! Stopped in on a drive from Chicago. They have so many options on food and drinks as well as fresh baked items. The sandwich and matcha were delicious and prices very reasonable. I would definitely go back if I was in the area!

Well I hope if you open in whiting indiana that you don't have the same service I got this morning!! We (2ppl) walked in and order at the casher who seemed to be high or on something. We ordered to dine in. She said to us that our order would be brought to us to wherever we sat, so we could get comfy somewhere. We ended up waiting almost an hour for our food and drinks!! Drinks came first. Then another 15 minutes for the food, only because my wife went to ask what was taking so long. Come to find out our food was sitting there in a bag ready for carry out!!! Wth!!! Then the dessert I ordered was said to be given to us. We did not get it. Until they brought after the fact. The Worst service I ever gotten. I regret spending my time and money here today !!! Grill cheese was a 8 Avacoto toats was a 5 Smoothie a 9 Cappuccino a 6 So food wasn't to bad. Service a 2

I have been to this place multiple times since it has opened. I drive about 40minutes from my house to get here and was so disappointed with the service today. My family (6) six of us each had something wrong with what we ordered. Whether it was the drinks or food, something was missing or wrong. There was only 1 server, which meant a wait for serviceâwhich would have been fine if it came correctly. When we asked for a correction of the food/drink, the wait was long before we could have a correction. Extremely disappointed after todayâs visit and wish they couldâve done more to remedy their faults.

Itâs totally fine to tell people dining in to go sit and somebody will be with them to take their order, but if youâre going to do that you should be paying attention to the order that people came and sat down so you can take their orders in that same order. Love it here but will always be ordering at the main register anyways to dine in.
I am always very impressed with not only the menu at Sip but also the customer service! My favorite barista Ash always kills it with the most perfect banana bread lattes!! I really enjoy the creative and changing menu at Sip, I just found out that Ash helps design the menu board art too, make sure to check it out next time you go!

Sip is honestly my favorite place to go study, thanks to the extended hours. To add to the enjoyability, the other night I went to open mic and the service was fantastic and the drinks were delicious. Truly enjoy going to Sip.

The worst Sip location and possibly the most unpleasant cafe in Northwest Indiana. Want to listen to a compilation of the most annoying âindieâ TikTok songs of yesteryear? Want to be ignored by a server with dirty jeans who decides to giggle at the counter even when you try to get her attention? Want to leave with feeling microagressed with a stomachache to boot? If you answered yes to any of these, come to Sip 2! You might get lucky and also get ignored by a barista with neon hair singing off-key to Phoebe Bridgers, deliberately not making eye contact when you come up to the counter. Dinner and a show!
If any of those scenarios sound frustrating, go to any other coffee shop. I love Bean Me Up Roastery, in Munster. Drive to the other Sips. Spend your money literally anywhere else.

This is wonderful place to drink coffee, have a meal, and read a book on a couch snuggled in a blanket. The baristas are very attentive and treat you with immense kindness. While waiting for/eating your meal, you eyes consume all the paintings and pictures on the walls. I highly recommend just walking through the whole place to find a comfortable seat and an excellent view.
