pizza was bland, undersized and overpriced. the bbq wings were breaded and then there was a separate cup of bbq sauce to dip them in. it was weird. the breading on the wings was soggy and over salted. paid over $30 for a small pizza and order of wings and threw almost all of it out. super

A great Softball Trip find on South Kennedy when staying on the Interstate Hotel Row in Hammond, IN. Just down from the I-80/90 interchange with Kennedy Ave, in "The Region" of NW Indiana, Squigi's Pizza is worth seeking out! The pizza and sandwiches are top notch and service and commitment to the business is clearly evident! The hole-in-the-wall carry out location is not anything to get excited about, but you are only there to pickup your food. And the food is worth it! If you get there early, like I did, BrewFest in next door and is a bar featuring great local brews on a 20 or so sampling tap system. Got in & out after sampling 6 or 7 brews and returned to the hotel with great food! Great ending to a long, dust-filled travel softball day.

My family and I were traveling through and looking for a place to eat. We wanted to try this restaurant based on the reviews, so we stopped to walk our dogs before placing our order. The owner drove up and was very rude to us, yelling about how "this is not a rest stop", and that we were taking up parking space for paying customers, despite the fact that we WERE planning on buying food, and there was literally no one else in the parking lot. The owner's rudeness ruined what could have been a good experience for us in a new town and we took our business elsewhere. The parking lot was totally empty, so who knows if they would've had other customers come through, but his attitude definitely lost our business. If we ever stop in this town again, we will definitely skip this place.
