This used to be the place to dine. People used to brag about this place. My recent visit was very disappointing. The drinks didn't have hardly any liquor. It was more juice than liquor. The salad 🥗 provided was soggy yet turned brown. Now the pasta served there was good but other plates served were not appetizing. Left out of the restaurant with a stomach ache. Never again!

It’s been a long time since I last visited Texas Corral. I was genuinely excited to go back because I used to love it as a kid and have great memories of going there with my family.

Unfortunately, this visit was pretty disappointing. When I walked in, there was no greeter at the front, and I stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge me for about 3–5 minutes. Thankfully, the bartender eventually noticed me and offered me a seat at the bar.

I ordered the Long Island Iced Tea trio — they were okay. My food came out pretty quickly, but the steak wasn’t great, which was a letdown. No one asked if I wanted more bread, and after I finished my drinks, there was no check-in to see how I was doing. Honestly, I started to feel rushed.

I ordered a beer and some peanuts because I was planning to stay a little longer, but then the bartender came back with the check in hand, asking if everything was good. I just took it — the service wasn’t anything special, especially considering how slow it was when I came in.

Maybe I came too early in the day, I’m not sure. But after this experience, I probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

When we arrived it was pretty much empty, and it was dinnertime. Service was fast, food was very bland. Rolls were cold. Green beans were very hard. Steak was ordered medium, it was well done. Chicken was tough. Will Not be returning.
