Pizzeria UNO Highland

I’m writing this actually still dining! I just can’t wrap my mind around the service my husband and I just received. Ak was our server and he was AMAZING! I literally felt like I was at a 5 star restaurant. My husband and I couldn’t believe how attentive, courteous, and just respectful! The food was good but the service was incredible. Am if you’re reading this we hope you enjoyed the tip we left and we really do appreciate you making our experience the best we’ve ever had! Merry Christmas and don’t stop being you. You should consider teaching a hospitality class so others can learn from you.

Ordered a deep dish. Pizza and the sausage was raw and very little sausage was in there thank god !! I think they switched owners . Waiter never came back to ask if we needed any thing or refills . I used to like the place last time I will go back !!

A very close friend of mine took me to Uno’s today and introduced me to their vegetarian options. It was my first time having the Bhakri pizza and I really enjoyed the flavor including the crust! We had the delicious green bliss burst also and the FFF pizzas. The roasted vegetables were awesome also! The service was fast and excellent, and prices are very, very reasonable. I would definitely go back!!! Thank you for this amazing lunch, Uno’s!

I had a curbside order. The young man who prepared my food and brought it let me know that because I requested light cheese, he added extra veggies to my food. I appreciate him reading my notes and also the generosity!

Extremely burnt is the way the new owner of Uno's in Highland is serving their pizza, and then passing it off onto corporate saying this is how they require their pizzas to be cooked - to the point of the cheese being solidified into a burnt plastic... THIS IS A LIE, it's not corporate, it's the new owner and cooks... go to Lou Malnati's or Giordano's instead.

My family of 5 came in today because my husband always talks about the infamous UNO’s Pizza he worked for as a teenager in Merrillville. Well this a far cry from anything wonderful. We ordered the chicken bites and I don’t know what method is being used to cook these frozen nuggets they’re serving but they were barely warm and one was freezing cold. We told them and they brought out more a few minutes later supposedly fresh but still almost cold barely warm. We ordered the spicy roadster pizza which was smothered in blue cheese dressing rather than drizzled with it and I’m pretty sure the chicken on it was the same as the chicken bites. How disappointing. We also ordered a Chicago style deep dish pizza which was a complete joke. Canned diced tomatoes on top and some weird meat layer that I’m assuming was supposed to be sausage. It was DISGUSTING and artificial to say the least. I can’t imagine how this place is still open but it made so much sense why we were the only people there and no one else came in while we were. They need a restaurant overhaul or this won’t last much longer.

Good place to grab pizza! Had a sausage and cheese individual deep dish! Great taste, but the pie was a little on the small side!

So Happy that there is an UNO Pizzeria in Highland, Indiana. I would travel to downtown Chicago for the deep dish pizza and now I can get it here and it tastes exactly as I remember it and I Love it.
