The whole experience was top notch! The food was absolutely fantastic! We all got something different so we can try each others dish. Every single entree exceeded the other. The artichoke dip was the best we have ever had. 15 out of 10 stars! It’s nearly impossible to find a place in the area offers this type of experience so consistently. Well done! We also enjoy the fact that this is a local small business. Someone who had a dream and is doing a great job living it out! Well done!

Finally made my way to this little Hobart diamond! Everything from the scallop appetizer, to the seared ahi, seasonal martinis n espresso dessert drinks was amazing! The staff were extremely attentive and great with suggestions ❤️ Gnocchi was awesome as well. Kudos to the chef 💋 Will be back soon!

This place is more than delicious food, it is an entire experience. It's inside a historic house, super cosy the moment you walk in. The staff quickly greeted us and led us to our table which over looks the lake. The view was incredible. Sophie was incredible with recommendations and pairings for drinks and appetizers. Before appetizers are served they brought a basket of focaccia bread with the most delish butter spread. The stuffed mushrooms and the scallops were unreal! The scallops melted like butter! The fig and thyme pork chop with fingerling potatoes and Parmesan broccoli was so delicious! We finished with both the apple cake and the pumpkin crème brûlée and a cup of coffee and it was the perfect way to end our meal. We will absolutely be frequent flyers of Bon Vie!

Loved this little gem on the water! We had a lovely evening on the deck watching the birds and fish. Our server was very nice to our hangry 4 year old. The pumpkin salad and stuffed mushroom appetizer was delicious! My martini with stuffed olives was great. We highly recommend!

I came here for the first time today and had a great experience. Our waitress was at our table whenever we needed her and the food was great. The cook out to make sure everything was good as well. A very enjoyable experience and would come back. the deck is beautiful. The deck could use a speaker though.

Bon Vie is one of those hidden gems. First thing that stands out is the family like treatment you get when you’re there. This inviting, warm, and cozy setting really lets you relax like you are at a family gathering for dinner. The food is always tasty and interesting. The menu changes often. It also comes out like a unique little piece of art! The drinks are fun! The bar is well kept. The patio is perfect for nice weathered days. It’s in the back and faces Lake George. It’s peaceful. Laurie (the owner) is usually/ often there and comes around to check on you. She is friendly and pleasant to chat with every time. Often with other restaurants, I’m ready to leave as soon as I’m full. At Bon Vie it’s hard to leave at all.

Hands down best Chicken Marsala I've ever had! This place is a gem. The staff were friendly and warm and the perfect amount of attentive. I hate feeling rushed at a restaurant to make a decision and our server Rachel was more than paitient with me and very kind. The atmosphere was super cozy! Cucumbers martini was delicious and my date's Pork Chop was juicy and flavorful. Absolutely delicious experience! Will be back.
