My order was "lost" because they had a "rush." I don't feel this is a legitimate reason especially since we were there before noon. Restaurants should be prepared for lunch rushes. I asked for my sandwich but was told "everything is coming out." My problem there was firstly, my party was already done eating and we had to get back, and secondly, everyone who came in after me was eating and on their way. Fresh, unsweetened ice tea had an odd sweetener after taste and ice was paper thin and melted quickly. The young lady at the counter has no interaction skills with her customers, but the elder lady at least tried to help and was apologetic. I had to ask for a refund as my lunch time expired. I don't feel the need to return.

I just got back from there and I'll never go back again don't get me wrong the girl running the cash register she was nice but the place look like it hasn't been swept I ordered two Chicago Hot Dogs specials and it sure the hell wasn't Chicago hot dogs there's a little hot dogs I've ever seen in my life the french fries tastes like fish there's flies flying all over the place I waited forever for my hot dogs which was disappointing and the price wasn't that good long story short I will not be back very disappointed first time there and definitely last time

This isn't a taco place at all so stay away from them. My mom makes better tacos. The refried beans tasted like they were out of a can. The fried mushrooms were less than mediocre as well. I would also have reservations about their gyros because I didn't see an authentic spit for the gyro meat. The place was clean and the service was good. This is a place that appeals to people that have lowered their standards for good food.

I am commenting on the Taco Tuesday fare. The tacos are so delicious that melt in your mouth. The chicken tacos are the best, most flavorful that I have ever had. My wife enjoys their burritos. Try them.

Went into Brickie's for lunch based on Yelp reviews and a recommendation from my mom that she liked the place the last time she got food there last year.I was going to get a gyro platter, but I didn't see a rotisserie when I peeked into the kitchen, so I got the impression it may be prepackaged gyro meat. Apologies if that was a poor assumption! To me, gyros aren't gyros if the meat comes prepackaged - it has to be cut fresh off a rotating giant ball of meat.I let them talk me into the getting the lake perch, which was good - I got a lot of lake perch, plus a side salad and some tasty creamy chicken noodle soup. Ended up sharing the sides with my kids, which made them happy. The perch was good, although it could have had a bit more seasoning in the batter - the tartar sauce made up for it, but I always hope to not have to use tartar on a delicate sweet fish like lake perch. I kind of wish in hindsight that I would have ordered a Turkster or a Maxwell Polish for 1/3 the cost, and they would have come with fries. My kids ordered a grilled cheese and a hamburger - and I was very impressed at the price point that they both came with fries. The pizza puff we ordered as a side dish was delicious - that's something I can only find in Chicago and Northwest Indiana! Will probably be back the next time I'm in town to try some of the other items on the menu. It's a much shorter drive to Brickie's than to Portillo's, so I want to see how their Italian Beef and Italian Sausage sandwiches compare :)

Great food and service. Love the decor and theme of the restaurant. It celebrates brickie athletes past, present and future. Don't be misled by the name of the restaurant. It's not just your typical gyros restaurant. They have daily specials and entrees like ribs, pasta, and Mexican.

I love Brickies Gyros!!! They really have the best gyro, which is what I get every visit. The garlic fries are delicious and the fried Oreos or key lime pie are always a favorite dessert when they have them. Friendly and quick service with correct orders every time, which is hard to come by. Delivery is fast and efficient. 100% recommend trying them out! ☺️
