We had burritos for lunch, and they were great. They came with rice and black beans. Everything tasted good, and the salsa and chips were especially good. The menu includes many more elaborate dishes, which we will try on another visit.

I had Chili Releno’s and loved it. Excellent Salsa and love the vibe. The open concept and high ceilings make it appealing even with whats going on with Covid.

I was excited to try Dos Amigos. I ordered 2 Chili Reillano dinners and Sapapias. The Chili Reillanos had a thick doughy covering that was soggy and had a bit of hamburger with no seasoning). The pico was mostly onions barely any tomatoes. The rice and pinto beans were good. Sopapias are usually light and fluffy and served with honey. We got 4 triangles of hard dough with chocolate syrup over them. ($6.99) Needless to say we were very disappointed and will not be going there again. $41 was wasted on this food.

I kept seeing this place every time I went to Costco so I decided to stop for lunch. The salsa for the chips tastes homemade and is very good. I had the Dos Amigos Salad which had fresh ingredients and was very tasty. Just beware the menu is a little on the high side.

We have gone to Dos Amigos several times and have never been disappointed with the food or service. Margaritas are great! Food has always been fresh. Service is excellent. Menu has a good variety of dishes and appetizers. Location is perfect for shopping at Costco and having lunch next door. I recommend Dos Amigos to all of my friends.

My first experience was for a business meeting during happy hour where we had margaritas and nachos. They were SO good. They have a unique selection of margaritas.. I was so impressed with the fresh taste of the food that I brought my husband back for dinner the following week. The restaurant has more of 'warehouse' feel to it with cement floors, lack of decorations and ceiling lighting.. Because it was dark outside, it didn't have much of a cozy feeling....and it was cold. All the patrons had coats on during dinner, Our meals came with beans and rice. I loved them. They had a nice fresh taste. My husband was not as thrilled with his enchiladas but said they were okay. His first experience with the cold room and different-than-what- he was-expecting food, left him feeling that he did not need to return on a regular basis. I on the other hand, will be back and soon!!

A pleasant surprise of tasty, affordable Tex-Mex in Newington, an industrial area located next to COSTCO. I saw the restaurant as it was being fitted out and saw the “GRAND OPENING” sign. We finally went to for dinner and we should have gone earlier. Great homemade salsa with warm chips, many varieties of cerveza on tap and bottles, and of course, margaritas! I ordered the chilli rellenos – excellent with sides; my wife ordered the avocado burger and she too was impressed. Looking at the menu, I already know what I will be ordering for my next few visits. There are many to choose so it looks like we will be visiting often! You may have to drive out of the way a bit, but it is definitely worth the drive. Great food and service, at an affordable price…a winning combination!

My wife and I visited this restaurant in June, 2019. It's very close to a COSTCO, so it gets a lot of drive by traffic, and interest, including ours. This is recently-opened place, and it showed. The food was OK, but not special. I had the fajitas, my favorite Mexican fare. It was the ambiance - or lack thereof - that prompts me to give this place a 3 evaluation. Had this place not been new, and therefore entitled to the benefit of the doubt about what it could be, I would give this place a 2, as compared to other pretty good Mexican restaurants in the Springfield area. The site of this restaurant apparently is the bottom floor of an office building. Think of a lobby with floor-to-ceiling, undraped and blinds-less windows facing onto a parking lot. Our table was near the windows. In the late afternoon, when we went, it got a bit warm. The floor was bare concrete - not even tile on the floor. I'm willing to give this place another shot at some point. But for now, I would bring special guests to some other place of known high quality.

Had an enjoyable early dinner here. The restaurant is spacious with modern décor and the servers very welcoming and efficient. The complimentary chips tasted fresh-made and the salsa bright and tangy. We had ceviche and tacos al pastor. The ceviche was an ample portion, beautifully plated with a bright, fresh flavor. The al pastor (3 good size tacos) was pineapple-y sweet and the chunks of pork had a good notes of smoky chipotle with a nice heat. The black beans (also a choice of pinto) with melted cheese were creamy and paired wonderfully with the colorful Spanish rice, which had corn, peas, and green beans added for texture. A potent margarita added to the great flavors. The food is reminiscent of places we enjoyed living in L.A. Prices are a tad higher than the norm, but the quality made it worthwhile. Will definitely include this great new Mexican in our regular rotation.

Great service. Prompt server and checked back to ensure order was right and drinks refilled. Food was very good. Lot of chicken in the enchilada. We sat in a booth which was comfortable but also next to kitchen and a bit noisy for us. I would sit at a table or outside.
