I’ve been coming to Capitan for about 3 years now and it’s always been one of my favorite restaurants. And I’d always order the same dish, breaded shrimp (camarones empanizados.) However, I was disappointed today when I received my dish and the shrimp and fries were different from when I used to order. The breading on the shrimp was not at the quality I remember and the fries were very small and unseasoned. Next time I’ll try a different dish, but disappointed that I can...
The service was excellent! The atmosphere was great, they had karaoke night when we visited and it wasn't super loud or crazy. The food wasn't all that great and it is a bit pricey.
We went here, on New Year's Eve at lunch, when they opened. I did read the reviews first. I thought that we would give it a shot. Upon walking in we were not greeted right away. I know it's not necessary to be greeted immediately, but we waited there for what was becoming an uncomfortable amount of time and we were first in the door.There was also nowhere to wait. That was strange.
