Great customer service. Exceptional wait time. Their Lincoln burger might just be one of the best burgers I’ve had if not the best. Served on great French bread, sub style. Will certainly be returning to try their other burgers.

Only been here twice, first time was good enough for me to go back. 2nd time was 2 days ago and I will never go back. Very unorganized, over priced, and skimpy portions. I ordered by phone, corned beef and pastrami, fries, & broccoli bites ,and they told me 10-12 minute. Went to go pick it up 15 mins after order was made, sandwich and fries were done, broccoli bites were not, ended up waiting 15 more mins for broccoli bites! So I got hot broccoli bites and cold fries and sandwich! The sandwich was disappointingly skimpy, which their menu states “ One of Lake Counties largest of its kind”, if that’s the case that’s sad. There were tons of people in there waiting to pick up, there was no order to anything. A lady walks in and orders a sub, 2 mins later her order is called, she was even in shock, while everyone else has been waiting 10 mins or longer. Not a good experience and in my opinion over rated and over priced, and they need to find some better way of getting orders out in the order they were taken.

My original review was A little over 2 years ago since then I moved to Florida.I traveled over 1200 miles to have my still worker.And they are just as I remember them.God bless You are at lincoln's carry out. Everything was fantastic! The owner (or maybe manager?) and whole staff were so helpful and friendly and fun! Really excited we stopped on the way back to Chicago. Will definitely be making the trek again for the steelworker and the broccoli bites! Shout out to the Ruben too! 8/5 stars!

I generally am satisfied with service and quality at Hobart location. Today was a cluster. I ordered by phone and was clear: one order of broccoli bites, one order of jalapeno poppers, and three grilled cheese with bacon no lettuce tomato or onion. Arrived and order was waiting for me. One sandwich and the bites and poppers. Told the woman that I ordered three not one. She took the bag and said she was putting under heater while they make the two missing sandwiches. About ten minutes later, the apparently completed order was handed to me. I was not happy. Drive away and pulled out the top sandwich...had lettuce etc. Great job. Returned to show them the sandwich I did not order. Then opened the other two and they were made correctly¡.!!!! So I asked to correct the order and put the rest under heater. They did. Sandwich came out in about three minutes. Gave me my bag, I was pissed, and advised the new person that my order was screwed up twice...got a sorry. Left. Everything was cold by the time I got halfway home.
I give them two stars only because of past performance. Today was a negative three stars.
The food is always fresh and delicious here. All in all this place is great- they are always friendly and laid back, even when they get busy, but there is a reason they get busy and that's because not only is the food great quality, but so is their customer service. I recommend Lincoln's italian sub with a side of Italian dressing to add if you like that extra kick. A++
Parking: The parking lot is on the smaller side, but there are some spots along the street to park, too.
