I absolutely love everything about Montego Bay. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is friendly & the prices are on point! Teddy is by far the best which is a delight to have a restaurant owner take the time to great his customers & always goes above & beyond. Highly recommend to everyone!

As Im sitting here!! I have never had jerk chicken with absolutely no flavor other than burnt. I had the other people at the table taste it to make sure I wasn’t the issue. And Im NOT! The sauce tastes like straight nutmeg. And the only response to my complaint was “ok”. NEVER AGAIN!

Don't want to ruin the atmosphere by bringing in a bunch of people but... The chicken literally melts in your mouth. Prompt friendly service. Obviously it's a smaller place so it's quicker. But 5 stars across the board. We rode our bikes from Gary and went to tavern on the lake which was less than subpar. Love this place.

Went on a date with hubs yesterday. Had been wanting to try this place out. Easy sit down no wait which was nice. Service was very friendly and quick. We had the crab claws for an app. Very tasty great flavor! My only recommendation is either put more claws on the plate or use bigger claws if possible. My husband had the coconut curry shrimp. He ate and it was pretty good. Just lacked the coconut. I had the Cajun linguine at first but could sit with it expecting a more creamy pop of sauce and it just didn’t. However staff was very nice and switched out that plate for the mahi which was very good. Cooked well with the rice and au jus. Needed a little pop so I got jerk sauce on the side which did the trick.
Lastly we got the pineapple upside down cake…which was amazinggggg. Served hot with the rum caramel like sauce.
I would recommend giving this place a try due to the great service and some of the fresh flavors.

The life! Hobart knocked it out of the park to make up for the foul balls with the insanely expensive Farmhouse coffee earlier. After the dunes, we figured some seafood with flavors was the move. How right I was to notice the rare praise on Yelp for Montego. It's amazing, everything, drinks, blackened chicken, salmon, shrimp, and that rice. What did they do to the rice? It's rich, creamy, almost dessert texture with inviting savory hugs for the protein on the plates. Funny enough the sad sized cheesecake at the end was the only rough part, cmon that is an easy dish to forget maximizing profit! Make the desserts easy to share with friends, speaking of we all enjoyed the cozy and island vibe atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

Second time in this location in Hobart, Indiana food was excellent. We love the chicken wings, crabcakes, and shrimp tacos definitely my first babysitting. It was the same and second time with the same to do the same thing but on the big scale and of course we don’t get disappointed also the restaurant have their own jerk sauce. We love it and we buy one bottle to take it home and do their own staff home. Definitely I recommended this place Chef on family on definitely as our favorite stop in Hobart, Indiana.

great place. the jerk pork chop dinner is probably my favorite dish in all of NWI. key lime pie and pineapple upside down cake are both so good; I have trouble picking one or the other. drinks are all great too. appears small but there's a larger room and a back patio with a view of lake george. always recommending this place to friends.

Up front, food was delicious but small portions. Jerk chicken was excellent but a small side of rice and beans and tiny scoop of veggies did not warrant $23.00. Oh yeah, then I was presented a bill for $24.44 and the owner says it is the cc surcharge. Oh, so it's a 6% surcharge? Left still hungry and annoyed.
