Before covid hit a few years ago this place was by far the best Chinese food in this area or even the Chicagoland area but as with all restaurants after the covid thing the food is not as good as it used to be but it's still pretty good compared to other places... The owner peter is awesome and he's a cool guy that's been running that business for decades they've been around for a very long time ????????

Today I took a 30 minute trip to Hobart to go to New Hong Kong. I realized that I have been going here for over 20 years now and I don't have a review up. I lived in town for 7 or 8 years and I'd go sometimes twice a week, now I make the pilgrimage back when I can. There is no other restraunt in Hobart I make the trip back for.

I love new Hong Kong!!! Peter the owner is the absolute best so happy and positive I love him! Andy is alway a great server and also happy and positive all the time. We love the food the prices are great I have nothing but love for new Hong kong, I go there often to where Peter knows me by name. As a matter of fact I’m going to have dinner there tonight.
