Good ice cream, great prices
This place has been a family staple for years for my young ones. We can always count on them to have quality ice cream treats for the whom family. Their variety is something to rival even a large franchise
Food portions, quantity and quality are inconsistent. Orders are incorrect or missing requested sauces, etc too often. Sweet items are usually tasty, savory foods are hit or miss. Customer service is usually polite and professional. The atmosphere is cute and cozy, outdoor covered seating available with lighting, plenty of benches and seats. Just across the street is a park to take your treats if you prefer more privacy and less noise. We've gone here more times than we can count, it's great for a quick cheap snack, but it is disappointing when our orders are wrong, quantity is incorrect and less than we paid for and/or quality of food is poor i.e. stale, old brownies on a sundae missing hot fudge, chicken sandwich instead of chicken tenders, vanilla snowstorm instead of chocolate snowstorm, missing sauce for fried portobello mushrooms, missing sauce for chicken tenders, small sundae portion instead of XL sundae that was ordered, etc LOTS of errors. Overall it's good, but not great - quality control needs improvement. They're worth giving a try though, if you get them on a good day and your order is correct you'll probably enjoy it! 🍨
Love their peanut butter milkshakes!!!! We stop in several times during the summer. The breaded tenderloins and tacos are also good. We are always happy when spring rolls around, and we can stop in.
Under cooked catfish, Corn Dog was burnt to crisp.Hot dog tasted terrible. Couldn't get second order right. Will definitely not be back.
Will not be back, they messed everything up. Was rude. Girl rolled her eyes
I was born and raised in Evansville and moved to Oakland City in 2021. I always tell people that the best thing about moving here besides my husband was finding the Windmill Chill!!🍦🤍 Truly a hidden gem! 💎

Love their soft serve and huge menu options.
Dietary restrictions: I saw gluten free items on the menu.
Parking: I imagine at peak times that parking might be challenging but people are considerate.
Kid-friendliness: They have kid size picnic tables and one of those photo opps where you put your face through the hole.
