The Woods Too Catering and BBQ

Amazing staff and atmosphere. Very clean. Food was amazing!!! Had the seafood broil and it was really good! Will definitely be going back!!

On a road trip in Northern Indiana, we happened across The Woods Too restaurant. As we were driving by, we decided to stop for a drink. The entry was decorated for the holiday. We walked to the bar area. As we sat down, our server greeted us. She told us their specials and we decided to have dinner there. It was great. The steak and potato soup was full of tender steak. The prime rib was great and large. Loaded mashed potatoes balanced the meal. My wife had the lobster roll and crab meat cole slaw. Very good. Our server, Jordan, was great and checked on us often even though the restaurant was getting busy and she was the bartender. It was a great meal with great service at a fair price. It was a pleasant susprise!

Should fix the times on Google and on their website so no one else waste time and/or gas.

We went 10-19-2024 for the first time. The place looked very nice inside and out. The menu looked good. The button mushrooms app was great. After that it all fell apart. 25 minutes after placing our order they came out to tell me that they didn’t have any more walleye. Now I would not get to eat with the group. Then they started telling people that the prime rib was out. We were led to believe that we got the last 2. Well, my father in law got one that was 1/4 inch thick, as did my wife. Both dry as a bone and tough as nails. It literally looked like that cut one in half to stretch it to feed both. I have never seen such a small thin prime rib in my life. My mother in law asked for honey mustard and got spiced mustard. Then we didn’t get drink refills for 55 minutes. Then my meal came when everyone was done. Dry as a bone breasted chicken, now to go. We had such high hopes for this evening and it was a complete disaster. I really want to support local businesses, but they have a long way to go. We should have never been asked to pay for that meal. And watch out for the potent concentrated spray to clean tables. I think they forget to dilute it and it sends up a toxic cloud that grabs your throat. Sorry Guys. I hope you work it out.

Love this place. The Wednesday buffet and all of the homemade soups are my favorites. The pasta specials can’t be beat

Had the smoke house buffet last Wednesday. Price, service and the food was great! The pizza is great too, when it's available. Don't miss the frog legs and shrimp, all you can eat, the last Thursday of the month!!

If you have a large group, they seem to have a little issue at keeping up. The food wasn't bad ,but some of it was cold. I feel that if you only have 2...4 people, things would probably be much different

We had the prime rib special. The food was very favorable, but the meat and potatoes were stone cold. We did return it to the kitchen and received a discount. We will try them again but order if the menu.

The food tasted good, staff is giving it their all! Embarrassingly small portions at high prices. The first plate of all you can eat frog legs ($27) was a saucer with 3 small leg sections. I understand you need controls, but bring a decent portion the first go 'round and ration it after that. After complaining we got a real plate with 8, but still a lot of $$ for the amount of food.

New owners and it was very bad food...
