This is a cute small establishment in Huntingburgh. The food was good, service was great. Friendly and on top of drinks. Didn't have dessert but they looked good. I had a Reuben and it was piled high with chopped corn beef and sauerkraut. The top piece of rye was toasted but the bottom was a little soggy. Best to use a fork and knife. Taste was good though.

I recently went to lunch here with my fiance and grandmother and we absolutely loved it! The service was decent, there were adequate seating arrangements, and I couldn't get over how incredibly large the proportions of food they served were for the price! I fully intend on eating at this hidden little gem a lot more often ??

We were on vacation and couldn't find a single local spot open for breakfast Sunday morning, so we expanded our search a bit. When I saw Old School Cafe & Bakery pop up, I quickly checked out their reviews and told my husband and my dad we were going a little bit further (only 25 mins). We are SO happy we did!This is a quaint cafe that has a nice Sunday breakfast buffet. The sign on the door asked patrons to be patient because they were short staffed - but you would never know it! EVERY SINGLE staff member that we interacted with was kind, patient, and an absolute joy!I'm a little disappointed we don't live closer so we could check out their actual menu!

I had high hopes going into this cafe. I saw a segment on Tasting the Tri-State a while back and expected more. The menu was very limited with and nothing really jumped out at me. I settled for a chicken bacon ranch sub and was very disappointed. The chicken was very bland and dry with a couple of strips of bacon and a couple of squirts of ranch dressing. I ordered the garlic fries and again disappointed. We also got a Reuben sandwich, which was just average. I would probably not return.
A place we love to go for lunch. Just a great place to stop and have a sandwich, soup of the day, or maybe a Chef choice! If you're lucky you might get a chance for the coney dog special! Lots of fresh homemade desserts, the Cinnamon roll apple pies the Bomb! Sandy, Natalie, and Bob always make us feel like family when we're there. Definitely worth a stop..

Friendly and warm atmosphere! We ate here while visiting family in town and everything was great. And the prices were too. The reuben and fish tacos were filling and good. We can see why its our aunt’s favorite spot in town.
