We had driven over an hour to see my wife's sister who had just had a heart attack. Her 82 year old father wanted to eat at Gandy's so I pulled in 15 minutes before closing at the Jasper Indiana location. The Gandy's staff had no idea what a bad day it had been. I'm sure they wanted to go home also. They were patient as we looked over the menu and placed our order. We enjoyed a well prepared and tasty meal. We held them 20 minutes after closing but they wished us a good evening as we left. I hope they have a chance to read this. They made a difficult time a little better. Good job to Gandy and their Staff.

Well your Kirk did not have no hair net on didn't have no hair net on his facial hair he was out there and clean the trash containers with no gloves on putting the trash up against the front of his apron then went back to cooking did not go nowhere to wash his hands I washed him did not wear gloves while he was serving food. I think the place I'll be closed down. And I called the Dubois County Health Department and complained so be looking for them

Too close to the action. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and food quality was terrific. I could nitpick, the rolls were not of the same high quality of the original Grandy's which were made from scratch every day. Bob Evan's rolls are certainly superior. The chicken was fantastic. Some issues with the breading being heavy but the flavor was outstanding. Hot food was really hot and fresh cold food cold. All in all, I would drive 70 miles again.
