I understand why all of Jasper is talking about this place. With as many mexican restaurants in Jasper, IN I was truly not excited about another one. I was pleasently surprised. The food is good but I'm pretty sure it's the staff and the atmospher that actually make this place better than the rest. HINT: The Mahi Mahi Taco's will turn your hands BLUE :) lol

This was a great Mexican restaurant and I loathe Mexican because the family eats it daily. I can honestly say I enjoyed it all and the entire family thought it was amazing. We will be back for each of our visits back home.Dietary restrictions: I was able to order fajitas and keep on my Keto diet

Everything was wonderful except that the radio or music was way too loud and we couldn't hear each other talk very well. Other than that it was AMAZING!!!!!
I've tried many menu items and have not been disappointed. They are different than most Mexican places. Quite a diverse menu. Prices are reasonable for lunch even. Highly recommend!
Retro is asily the best restaurant in Jasper. Always great food. Can't really recommend any dish in particular... never had any dish there that wasn't unique and delicious.

David, even though he is new, was a great server. He checked on us periodically and filled our drinks. Asked if we wanted an appetizer or dessert. The food was great. The atmosphere was a bit loud. It needs some kind of sound dampening there.

My friend recommended me this restaurant and we decided to come in today. Service and food was great! Only problem was that the server was kind of rude because he forgot my jalapeños on my chicken. Seemed like it was my fault or something. Also he didn’t ask my friend what kind of tortillas she wanted that CAME with her meal. She wanted corn not flour. Well he charged us for the corn tortillas she wanted. I also ordered off the kids menu for my 5 year old that states a fountain drink and one side was included. We were charged for her side which was French fries.

The food was ok, but surprisingly lacked flavor. These were unique dishes that were ordered expecting extra flavor, but disappointed (Piñata Salad & Fajitas Poblanos). I'm sure the more traditional items would be fine.
