Family of 4 during the holiday season; it was a long wait for a table, but well worth it! It was a great time hearing the cuckoo clocks play in the waiting area. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the gift shop, and most importantly, the food.
Food was all cooked as ordered, and all orders were accurately prepared. My son really enjoyed the large mug of root beer.
I recommend the appetizer sampler; lots of good choices, and honestly, enough on it that it could be a meal itself.
Whatever you choose, it’s going to be good!

Schnitzelbank Catering was wonderful for my daughter’s wedding. I worked directly with Tammy Hudson. She was so helpful. She went above and beyond to help make this day extra special. We served the smoked beef brisket and pecan chicken, parmesan roasted red potatoes, country green beans, glazed carrots, Caesar salad, fried biscuits with apple butter. Many guests complimented the food. Schnitzelbank also serviced our bar. I would recommend them for your future catering needs.

My wife and I used them for our wedding catering in Boonville in March 2024. They brought a truck and cooked all the food on sight. Very courteous staff, and the cooks have great taste in music. Buffet food was delicious, exactly what we expected having been to the restaurant in Jasper several times. The appetizers during cocktail hour were very well received by our guests. They also cut the cake for us. Very affordable as well. The catering manager, Tammy, was easy to work with and helped make the planning process easier. We would recommend their catering to anyone.

They arrived on time, cooked everything onsite from their truck & stayed through dinner service to ensure everything was filled up. The food was amazing, hot & fresh. Their catering options are so affordable & their staff was very professional & very nice!! One of the best decisions we made. Highly recommend!!

Huge portions! I mean HUGE!!! Authentic German food in a cool atmosphere. The Manhattan Roast Beef (aka open faced roast beef sandwich) was just like Grandma's. The thing that puzzles me - and keeps me from giving 5 stars- is the apple strudel. I am the granddaughter of the best cook in NW Ohio (German ancestry) and a pastry chef (trained by an old school German chef) and I know how to make strudel. It doesn't matter if it's apple, peach, cherry, whatever; strudel is made by layering fruit and thin flaky pastry. Icing is a bonus, but not necessary. The apple strudel served here had a cookie-like crust, about 3" of sliced apples, and a thick buttercream-ish icing on top... No light flaky layers of pastry in sight... However- the triple chocolate cheesecake was amazing!!!

They did an awesome job with the Oktoberfest in Evansville! I've gone to the Schnitz in Jasper many times, so of course you know the food is going to be good. Fried chicken, German fries, and the spatzle were all excellent.

Bought a dozen mixed donuts this morning. Terrible quality! They were too soft that when you tried to pick up a jelly filled donut, they would fall apart. The sugar coating was melting and extremely messy and, the sugar was very grainy.I also did not think they had much in the way of flavor.I was hopeful for a good donut from them as their food is usually fine.
