Captain D's

Went to restaurant and sat in drive thru for 45 minutes and when I got my fish it looked like 2 breaded hot dogs, I have never seen fish that looked like this. I did not eat it because it looked disgusting. Fries were cold and looked like they weren't cooked, and a small order of coleslaw was $4.00 I was shocked. I will never go there again.

What’s the opposite of fast food because this place has it locked down. Took over 20
mins for my order. Not sure if they can move any slower. But then again they probably caught the food out of the Ohio River.

Went in and had 1 person ahead of us. Guy must have been new not sure, he never waited on us. We waited and he totally ignored us. Anyway, we left. We won't go back.

Today February 6, 2025 I was craving seafood, so my wife and kids went to Captain D's. This wasn't our first trip to this location, but it seems like some changes has taken place . Our food was cooked fresh to order and everything came out hot and it was really really good. It was suck a satisfying experience. Whatever changes you all are making keep it up. The food was truly worth 5-stars to us.

The food was nasty. Fish had weird taste. Soggy and oily. Fries weren't cooked. Got sick after 3 bites. Employee was nice but the food is absolutely horrible

Store was obviously open with people inside, sat at the drive thru for almost 10 minutes with no response, welcome, it anything. If rid was the first time this ever happened I could figure it was a technical issue or something, but it most definitely wasn't the first time third has happened. On one occasion when they were short handed, they immediately said thy were and asked me to be patient. On that occasion I was okay with waiting, but this time there was nothing.

Do not Go to this restaurant they are very, very disrespectful The door skin the guy is the manager. He has a very bad attitude problem and the other guy that’s on the drive-through. He will talk to you like you stupid and keep yelling in the restaurant. They need to Replace the whole second shift staff. I ordered delivery paid for it through Captain D’s website. They made my order 40 minutes before DoorDash was going to come and get it so my food was just waiting already prepared so I drove to the captain D’s to get a refund then they said they can give me a refund because I paid for it through DoorDash not correct. I paid for it to Captain D’s if they wasn’t trying to be a hose they would’ve knew that do not ever order delivery through Captain D’s. I have a car. I just didn’t feel like driving because it’s cold, but I drove to them to get my refund. Now I am on my way to Long John Silver‘s where they know how to treat customers

I am giving five stars based on other fast food seafood restaurants. I had the seniors two fish platter, and they were kind enough to let me have one for my grandson at the same price. Very impressive! Those small gestures mean so much to me. I will be back for sure.

I cannot rate the service high enough! We came with a group, and everyone was friendly and fast. One of our residents had an emergency, and Payton handled it beautifully, making sure we had everything we needed, and that everyone was taken care of. She was absolutely as sweet as could be. And we couldn't ask for better staff!

Really liked the flavor of their chicken and fried shrimp. Reasonable prices. Fried fish is fine - salty and greasy. Hush puppies are maybe too mild. Tartar sauce is sweet, so I couldn't eat that. I'll be back for shrimp & chicken.

I used to locate this place It has gone way down hill over the last yr I won't be going here for at least 6 months And if at that time it hasn't improved I won't go back I cannot give it any recommendations for anything The fish was dry as toast the soda was all carbonation The food wasn't fit for my dogs dish and the attitude that they were doing me a favor by being there Well as you may be able to tell I wasn't impressed
