This place looks to be out of business. There’s been no sign of any patronage here since at least the snow storm of 2025, if not before then. I haven’t seen a car in their parking lot for months. Signage is off the building over the door, but the mural is still on the front.
This place is awesome.
FINALLY SOME FOOD MADE WITH LOVE AND SEASONING! I’m from NY and most of the food in Kentuckiana (that I’ve tried so far) has been so bland I could cry…service was excellent and the food was amazing for the price! Thank you! I will be back!
My bff and I come here every week. The margaritas are cheap, strong, and the service is immaculate! The birria tacos and fajita nachos are our favorites! Plus they make you feel like family when you're here.

Underrated. Food is excellent and tastes fresh. It is what El Nopal would be if there was fresh food and better prices. I prefer El Vallartas.

My boyfriend and I decided to order takeout from this restaurant because we had never tried it before. We looked on the website and decided what we wanted to order. When he went to pick it up, he was charged $10 more than what it should have been. The prices they were charging were a lot more than the prices that were on the website. The employee said she couldn’t do anything about it. She called the manager, but he was not cooperative. He tried to say that was not their website when clearly it was the website for the restaurant. Both meals were listed as $13.99 on the website menu, but we were charged $15 and $23 for the two meals.
The food was decent but was nothing great. My chicken was supposed to have a cheese sauce on it, but it only had some yellow watery liquid on it. We will definitely not be going back there if that is how they do business.

Would love to give this place a five stars because the food is really tasty, (even if it isn’t what I ordered lol). The woman taking orders does not even speak enough English to take orders off of their own menu. I even pointed to the item directly on the menu.
This is what I ordered
“Mole oaxaqueño
14.00
Oaxaca México makes one of the best moles in the world, it has several non-spicy chiles, seeds, ground with some species. Chicken covered in mole. Served with rice & tortillas”
The photos is what I received. It even is written on the top of the to go order “enchiladas” which is not what I ordered at all.
I love the food. And would eat here all the time, but I would like to be able to eat what I actually order and not some random thing she chooses for me off the menu. Haha
(Also, I am not going to send back perfectly good food for them to trash it. So for the second time I am eating something I didn’t order. If and when I go back, maybe I will get to try what I actually want to eat instead of whatever she thinks I should eat. Haha)

Fantastic food, nice folks, great decor/atmosphere. This place is a hidden gem.
I have to laugh at the person who complained the salsa was too spicy. Salsa should have spice ; that's like me complaining your potato salad isn't spicy enough and leaving 2 stars. Apparently they listen though, last night they also brought some boring bland salsa (I do look like a boring American, lol). Their real stuff is fantastic though! Mole was phenomenal too!
Their English is much better than my Spanish, they're super nice and helpful, and I'm glad they've put their efforts into opening a great spot in Jeff!

If you’re looking great food, great service and nice atmosphere. Then this is your place. If you’re wanting traditional Mexican, Louisiana style seafood boils, amazing bone in wings and the greatest Chocolate Flan. Then your want is over. Large menu, cool artwork on the walls. And just nice sincere family
