Awesome place for authentic and delicious Mexican food. Outdoor seating is great and I love the cozy atmosphere of their upstairs dining area! Also being located downtown is super convenient and I will definitely be coming here again.

This place was such an experience! We loved how it was set up (indoor/outdoor seating) and even took a few photos. They were quick and nice! Highly recommend!

I was looking for a fresh tasting taco. I ordered the beef. It was a 4 inch diameter purple tortilla with lots of meat and cheese and 2 pieces of poblanos. The daytime crew allowed an alarm on a restaurant tablet to continue for 5 minutes. I had to ask them to stop it. Not impressed.

Parking: Parking on the block in lot up the street.

Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp to the patio.

Great food, but they left an entire $12 burrito out of my to go order for a group. I tried to call the restaurant to see if I could come back for it but they didn't pick up. Probably won't order to go again.

Delicious food, and great service. I love the patio area where you can people watch while you eat.

Parking: There's a lot of places you can't really park here.

Stopped for lunch and got two tacos, queso, and a marg. They wanted 8$ for a low ball glass sized marg and 12 for a pint sized. The queso was also pretty mid, very watered down. The tacos were very good though! I'd come back but skip the queso.

La Catrina is a wonderful spot with great atmosphere and even better food. A long galley style place. Fast and very friendly service. La Catrina has the best Mole in Chicago hands down no contest #1. There can be a wait depending on the day or on others you can walk right in. Again Chicago's best Mole!!!

Went here hoping for some great food. Ordered drinks, chips and queso/salsa. Queso and salsa was served in to go cups and chips were rock hard and nearly inedible. Cost was $12 for to go small plastic condiment cups of queso and salsa and stale chips. Margarita's tasted fine, we ordered one on the rocks and one frozen. Presentation was nice but we ordered the smaller size margaritas and were charged for the larger size. All in all we got 2 drinks and chips, salsa, and queso for $40. We decided to pay and leave before ordering actually meals. We ended up going to Ramiro's Cantina where I ended up ordering food for the whole family to go plus my sit down meal with a friend. For 9 tacos, chips , queso, a bottle of water and and alcohol beverage I paid $54 no including the tip and the food was actually edible.

One of those highly rated places with a low number of reviews, you go in ask for a premium margarita with a specific tequila requested, and you literally watch them pour low-end tequila in your drink right in front of you.

Seven of us got up and left after the bait and switch.

This is just a fancy-themed Sysco frozen food truck bad restaurant.
