We googled best BBQ in the greater Louisville area and this place did not dissapoint!! Hands down best BBQ I’ve ever had. Worth the 30min wait. The portions are generous, my family of four comfortably shared a brisket entree and two individual sides. If I didn’t live so far away (we visited from the northwest), I’d go back for the other meats!!
Stopped on the way through town and glad we did! Had pulled pork sandwiches with baked beans, potato salad and corn pudding. All the sides were wonderful which is usually where I am disappointed in BBQ restaurants. The pork was tender and the sauce was generous and delicious.
Picked up carryout for the family. We got the chicken and pork which both were great had a nice smokey flavor. The sides however were disappointing! The Mac n cheese tasted like cottage cheese, the corn pudding was super runny, greens tasted dirty with no seasoning, and the coleslaw was lacking something. We will be back for the meats for sure but skipping the sides!
