This place is a diamond in the rough. Amazing food, friendly staff, and easy to find! Those brussel sprouts, tho! Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe them! Never had anything off the menu I didn’t like. HIGHLY recommend.

My wife and I have been to the Yeti probably no less than 50 times in the 7 years since we moved back to the area. We've never had a bad meal or bad service. While we were waiting on our home to be built we lived close to downtown in a small apartment in 2017, and were there most Friday nights. Our current neighbors own a liquor store and we've been to a few special events with them where the cuisine was tailored for a specific whiskey. Those events were wonderful. I've taken clients, as well as colleagues and out of town guests there. Everyone loves it.
Sadly tonight, the service was lacking. We sat at the bar, and were greeted promptly, and offered waters. I told the bar tender my wife would be along directly, we were meeting there and she was a few minutes out. After the water was delivered, he never said another word to me until she arrived. I was waiting to order both our drinks but was ignored. I should caveat this by stating in the 90's I was a bartender. I know the routine. Once she came in it still took a few minutes to get his attention. Once we did and ordered, he made the drinks, they were up to snuff and all was good. As we took our first sip he asked if we wanted an appetizer. I said not just yet, probably order something to go. That was our last interaction. We sat there talking for 10-15 minutes and finished that drink by 20 minutes. He still didn't ask us anything. I then sat my glass on the rubber mat at the back of the bar, in front of him, as he washed dishes. He still didn't ask me anything or look at me. He did make a few drinkes that came in from the wait staff, but he never looked at me or said, just a moment, we're busy, boo, anything. After my empty drink sat there for 5 or perhaps 7 minutes, I asked for the check. He provided it and that was that.
Your chef has just been given an incredeible honor, and one I think is deserving. I've eaten the shrimp and grits, think your greens and brussel sporuts are the best and the chicken is marvelous, as is the burger. I still miss the dry rub wings, best in Jeff, but I understand why they were removed. I've been friendly and chatty with many of your bartenders, and known them by name and enjoyed my time there. Tonight the service was off. Very much so. I understand that poor guy is making drinks for the entire restaurant, but if he's slammed, he can acknowledge uis and say something. He didn't. He even had time to answer a few texts, or update somethign on his phone, I'm not sure. Bottom line, for the first time in 7 yers we walked out unsatisfied, and for a restaurant of that calibre, it shouldn't happen. You're better then that.
We're not walking away, the food's too good. But do better next time. Please. You're the best Jeff has to offer, and we love your food and atmosphere. Someone please offer some advice and tips to the young bartender about social skills.
Best wishes.

We hadn’t been in for a while due to some issues we previously encountered, but after the staff and menu changes we decided to give it another chance—and it was absolutely outstanding. The staff, service, management, and food were all amazing. We will definitely be back to Red Yeti.

Red Yeti serves excellent food that’s cooked to perfection. The fried chicken is packed with great flavor, and the grits might just be the best thing on the menu—honestly worth the visit alone. The short ribs had good flavor, though there wasn’t much meat for the price. On the bright side, the fried cauliflower is hands down the best in town. It is a little on the pricey side, so bring your wallet—but you definitely pay for the quality and great food you get.

The atmosphere was excellent, and I visited for the first time with my coworkers. The restaurant offered a pleasant dining environment and a straightforward menu, making it easy to choose from a variety of decent food options. The dishes we ordered were flavorful and well-prepared.
However, the service could have been better. Our server did not check on us mid-meal, and we had to wait until the end of our visit to receive drink refills. Additionally, I needed extra condiments for my dish, which were not provided promptly.
Overall, aside from the service shortcomings, the dinner experience was enjoyable, and the restaurant itself is a great place for a casual group outing.

What can I say about this place?
It’s a true uncut diamond in the crown of this wonderful city. The kitchen here is something special - almost divine. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such passion and such a thoughtful approach to cooking.
Honestly, I’m not even sure what to recommend first, because everything is worth trying - from the chicken to the beef, every dish feels like it was crafted with real care. And the way they take classic American recipes and reinvent them with a modern twist absolutely deserves special praise.
But the best part is this: the aftertaste - that beautiful blend of fresh ingredients and subtle aromas - stays with you for hours after the meal. And trust me, that’s something truly wonderful.
If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t just want to fill your stomach, but wants to treat yourself - to give your taste buds a real celebration - then I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
And one last thing: the place itself may look pretty modest from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. The fantastic kitchen and the incredible quality of the food easily put it above many fancier-looking restaurants.
