Our waitress would take forever to refill our drinks. We had to keep reminding her we were waiting on them. My mother-in-law's food came out cold. Waitress took back to the kitchen. When it came back out the next time, it still wasn't very hot. I got the chicken & steak fajitas and asked for only rice, no beans, and they still put them on the plate. I don't like them, and they were touching my rice. Needless to say, I didn't get to eat much of my rice.

Do not recommend eating here if you have celiac or gluten allergy. Our server was super nice about it. However, the manager made fun of my allergy and acted as if it was not even a thing. We sat next to the kitchen so I could hear and see his actions. I ordered the baked potato chicken without onions (they are breaded) and said I had a gluten allergy. My food was brought out with two pieces of toast, touching my food. This has never happened to me. I was a little distraught asked them to send it back because even a little bit of cross-contamination can affect me. Server was very helpful not being her at fault. Manager left as soon as it became a problem to leave his staff to deal with it. Super upset, because I really wanted to enjoy going with my fiancé since he had never been.
Dietary restrictions: Poor.

We never eat out anymore, but I was craving some queso, I didn't want to cook..So we decided to call in for carry out. I get it's a Saturday, and I'm sure they were a bit busy...but some advice staff, if someone calls and asks if they can order carry out..if you are slammed say so!! Give a wait time, something. Most of us have worked on food service & get it.
First off when the girl answered she just said Yeah. I wasn't sure at first I even called the right number. I asked if I could order carry out. She said Yeah, one minute & put me on hold..10+ minutes later, nothing.. It was just one red flag after another. This is the second time something like this has happened and prevented us from even eatting there. They insinuated last time we actually ordered they were busy, and when we got there they were dead so Idk this time if it was they were busy or lazy...It's a 50/50 anymore if the staff is kind and helpful, or trash.. idk why this location is like this, the one in New Albany is and has always been amazing. Food and staff.
Considering it's almost $50 for our usual order of 2 burritos, rice, beans, and queso that has shrank to half the size it once was. It's just not worth it. The last time we attempted to order is the same day of the last few reviews with photos of the food looking like a mess. So I guess it's a good thing the girl ghosted me tonight. We will not be back anytime soon...
We ended up going out and seeing who had the shortest line...It was Taco Bell by Rural King. They were polite, professional, that girl at the window had the cleanest, most pressed unform I've ever seen, hair neat, she was adorable. Our food was hot, correct, tasted good, extra sauce without asking, the bag was even organized so nothing was crushed, & quickly done...You got outdone by Taco Bell. Tumbleweed needs to reevaluate themselves and some of their staff..

Not the Tumbleweed I remember. The two areas that this place excelled in were the quality of service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. I ordered the Taco Salad with pulled pork and it was so devoid of flavor I barely ate half. Iceberg lettuce, topped with some pulled pork, tender but bland, cheese, and sour cream. I used ranch dressing that I added Chula hot sauce to make it spicy, this was all the flavor I could taste. For the price, I would never order it again. No tomatoes, no other vegetables. Mom ordered the chimichangas and they were "filling but also had minimal flavor and were a little greasy". Even the salsa tasted like ketchup with chunks of tomato. No salt, no onion, no garlic. I asked for the "spicy" salsa and it was just more runny and no heat.
This just isn't the Tumbleweed from years ago. Sad to see the quality suffer so bad especially for the price we paid for 3 people to eat an early dinner $28. Plus tip. I doubt I will be going back.

40+ minutes and your the only order to be taken. My order was taken. Took dude 10 minutes to get that in. Walked past the window to see my food had been sitting there for 5+ minutes while other peoples food at my table was getting made. The food for me was cold to the touch. Not hot at all. We left.

2 attempts to dine here in a row.
First time we arrived at 8 pm and waited 40 mins, after already being told we would be seated in 20 mins, only to be told they were too busy and could not serve us.
Second attempt we arrived at 8:40 to get a margarita. Sat at the bar for 20 mins without any greeting whatsoever. The waitress’ were talking about us “just walking in without being seated”. One waitress walked by and just stared at us and didn’t say a word. After that we walked out.
I have always loved tumbleweed but this location is ran by a terrible group of people.
At neither visit did we act rude or disrespectful but we were treated with pure disrespect.
If I could give 0stars I would.

This place is over ran with flies, there’s flies then customers. Prepare to watch your plate. The service was ok. The food is incredibly expensive for the quality. The health department needs to pay a visit.

Not very happy with how expensive they are now. Almost $13 for a bean burrito Ala carte? It's crazy and not as good as it once was a long time ago.

Let me start of by saying i’m a server myself. With that being said I never get upset with other servers and I understand the stress, but tonight was terrible. I found a hair in my salsa, my 2 friends waited over 20 minutes for refills on water, she never gave me a straw even after i’ve asked, we didn’t get our queso for another 20 minutes, and we seen our food just sitting in the window ready for a whole 15 minutes.
Server was not friendly at all. Brought out food that was wrong and when she was told, her attitude was worse.
