Waited twenty five minutes after ordering. Monday evening. They were NOT busy... Did not even get the drink that I had ordered. Gave up and went next door to the fast food where at least I got some food.

Today service was a little slow and the server seemed confused but later I learned that it was her first day so all is well.

I haven’t eaten at Applebees in like 15 yrs! The food was surprisingly very good. I got a breaded chicken sandwich and fries. Tasted fresh and cooked perfectly. Small portion of fries, but the sandwich was filling. Was a bit busy when I first arrived, so service was very slow. The waiter and staff were friendly and nice. I think I might actually come back!

Stopped in for a quick lunch while running errands and had a genuinely wonderful experience. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food came out fresh and flavorful, and everything was prepared just right.

But the real standout was our server, Shamira. She brought such a warm, grounded energy to the table—kind, attentive, and incredibly present without being overbearing. It’s rare to see that kind of natural ease and professionalism combined. She made the whole meal better.

Thanks to the whole team at Applebee’s Kendallville—this visit was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Looking forward to returning.

Be careful if you order through a delivery service. Even if they make errors your only option is to go to the restaurant and get the correct items or let them send you a coupon to your email. They do not take into consideration that you paid extra for the food and all of the delivery fees and tip. I wish I could attach pictures to show how raw this hamburger is. I did on the door dashed app.

Occasionally my wife and kids will go to this restaurant after church, usually around 11:50am, the last time it was just 4 of us, the restaurant was maybe about a quarter full, service took over an hour to get our food, and then we went today 12-8-24 around 11:50 today, it was not busy, got seated right away, it took about an hour for our food to arrive, the excuse was there were a bunch of large parties that came in ahead of us, I could only count 3 tables of 8 and we were a party of 7, and maybe 6 tables of 2 or 4 people, half of our party left at 1 because they had prior plans and didn’t think a barely quarter full restaurant would take over an hour to bring out food, I used to frequent this establishment often, and they used to be more busy and they were always quick with our food, it’s just not the case anymore, probably will do the same as others in our town and just stop going until they can get better service

I love eating here. Great people and hardly ever have to wait to be served.

I've had better service here when it's been packed than I had tonight!! It wasn't even a wait on the kitchen either! We sat for 15 minutes before I got up and kindly asked a waiter who would be serving us. He went back to the kitchen and our waitress emerged 5 minutes later. The bar tender seemed more interested in talking to the two men sitting at the bar than the customers paying for her service 🤦

Hope is the Absolute BEST Waitress. We enjoyed Monday night hamburgers for a great price of $8.99 each that included a side. Hope was attentive to all of our needs. She made the night so much more nicer for us.

Hope was an amazing server and she was very nice.
