I have been in this bakery many times in the last few years. I want to emphasize that this visit was the exception, and not what I’ve experienced in my previous visits. The bakery is very whimsical, lots of things to look at. The staff, and owner, are very friendly, quick to wait on customers. Previously I’ve had coffee, and tea, both were fantastic. I ordered bars, which were probably my absolute favorite. The cookies are REALLY good too. Unfortunately the cupcakes I purchased today were disappointing. If I am paying $3-5 for A cupcake, that falls into the gourmet category for me. I was expecting each flavor to stand out, I assumed the icing might be different types. Something to really differentiate the cupcakes. I ordered four different flavors. My husband and I couldn’t tell which cupcake was which flavor. They all had the same very sweet icing, only different colors and different decorations. For the price, it was a Valentine dessert disappointment.

The owner and staff are phenomenal, as is the setting. Coffee is great and affordable. Bakery items (including, but not limited to, their cookies) are to die for. A group I'm a part of ordered a cake and it came out beautiful and everyone loved it! The only caveat I've ever had with this business is that it's not big enough to host mid-sized groups, but we know they'd accommodate if they could!

Oddly this place was empty when we went and I can’t understand why?!?!? The place was out of the way for us but gave it a try and it was totally worth it! The atmosphere is interesting. It’s inviting, people are in the back working on baked goods, there’s a library of books to look through. Very cute little place to stop for a snack and actually hang out to chat with some friends. I can honestly see it as a great place for a book club meeting or a Stitch’n’Botch. The baked goods were delicious. We had a cupcake, cookie and slice of cake. All were a pleasant combination of flavors and ingredients. Both our coffees were really good as well. We have no complaints and plan to go well off our normal path to visit again.

Order Nitro Brew with oat milk and vanilla when I got it it was less than half full no oat milk and no vanilla so I get back in line and they say okay we'll give you one for free so I ordered Americana with oat milk and vanilla and they used regular milk and I can't have milk didn't realize until I drank half of it. It made me sick. Now this was my first visit very disappointed because I payed 6.32 for a coffee that made me sick
