Ordered a skillet that comes with mushrooms in asked to leave mushrooms out the owner and cook refused special order meaning he refused to leave the mushrooms out ! I was told you order and eat what’s on menu or don’t order !!
So this place is horrible for how the owner treats his staff and customers!!!

Based on the reviews, Good Table Family Restaurant is a great local restaurant in Kentland Indiana. The food is good, with excellent service. The Monte Christo sandwich was scrumptious and the home made vegetable soup was awesome. It is a favorite date spot for just about a year, and guests are never disappointed with the food or service. It is one of the only places that has excellent brewed coffee. The owner reached out to make things right after a misunderstanding, showing this family truly understands good customer service. Unfortunately, on Saturday 4-11-2026 evening time half of the restaurant burnt down, but hopefully it will be open in the future.
