Travelers Point Distillery

Fantastic bourbon served up by genuine, friendly staff. So glad to call them friends! Am looking forward to many more conversations over a glass of delicious bourbon or one of their handcrafted cocktails. The smoked old fashioned is a crowd pleaser and a delight to be enjoyed along with good talk!

I visited this place for the first time on Friday July 18, 2025. I was in town for some work stuff and stopped by to get a sample.

What I found was way more than I expected. To say the bourbon and whiskey were exemplary is not an exaggeration but that is not the best thing I found there.

What I found was a wonderful group of people who invited me in to their conversation and to have a seat at the table.

I was given an amazing representation of the product line by a very knowledgeable master craftsman and those who were by my side I can now call friends.

Life is about experience and this one was a blessing.

If you haven't been there you need to check it out. I will return.

I've been coming here regularly since shortly after the tasting room opened. I've yet to have a poor experience. Great care and a lifetime of experience has gone into crafting an excellent product and there is truly something for everyone here, both in the realm of fantastic and interesting cocktails as well as neat pours of their product line. It is an extra-special touch to find the master distiller present in the tasting room most evenings, and having the working still and racks on-site for tours brings it all together. In addition to producing a fantastic, high-quality product, the company also gives back to community members and invests in the town. I remember when COVID started, the distillery produced and disturbed a ton a hand sanitizer. I'm very excited to see how Travelers Point grows in and beyond Kirklin. It's a must-visit!

3 stars only for a good conversation with the master distillery, the tasting room service was not great. If you want true distilled liquor without driving to KY it's a decent product... but we won't return for product based on service.

Amazing drinks and the people here are great!

We really enjoyed our visit. Ended up taking home a bottle of the 4 year old 90 proof.

My wife bought a bottle for me. I was excited to taste it and was seriously disappointed. Smelled terrible and tasted like old cork.

Worth the drive. A cozy space with a spectacular line of bourbons. The specialty cocktails are equally good.

The bartender was very nice and helpful. The drinks were great!! We'll be back to visit soon!
