Dog House Grill & Ice Cream Pawlor

The food is great, the ice cream is awesome, the staff is very friendly, The young lady who always waits on us goes out of her way to serve us and make us feel welcome, My family goes here very often, This is a great place for Knox!!!

Terrible portion sizes.. barely scraped the surface of ice cream and called it a scoop.. a 4 scoop waffle cone did not even go past top of cone! Little Chinese girl behind the counter her hair was in the ice cream cooler! Yuck prices also high for amounts given! NEVER AGAIN

I have been here 3 times. Each visit it takes a long time to just get ice cream and it hasn't been busy all 3 times I've been in there. Today my son asked for the hot chocolate ice cream and it took at least 10 minutes to get I guess they couldn't find the hot chocolate then when we did get it it was like water down hot chocolate (packet) with a scoop of ice cream. For the price of their ice cream I would expect more. The first time we went we got banana split without the banana ( that was funny) had to ask for the banana.

This place is so good! Ice cream is super high quality, service was quick, food was delicious! Would be a really fun spot for a birthday outing-such a fun atmosphere! Knox is lucky to have this little sweet spot!

Stopped by today to order take out as hubby really likes their burgers. I was immediately greeted by a cute young lady. When I told her what I wanted she turned her screen around so that I could tap on exactly the condiments I wanted. I loved that! She did the same for my Chicago style hot dog. She added onion rings per my request. She was thorough and polite. I received my order in a timely manner. When we sat down to eat at home, the food was packaged and presented very neatly. It was also delicious! We have never been disappointed. It is good to have a place like this in such a small town.

This was a hidden gem that I found for my son's birthday! We had so much fun handicap access. Reasonably priced. The staff had a great attitude....service with a smile. Would highly recommend you bring your kiddos!

Another giant rip off in these little towns of Indiana.
This “restaurant” and its manager should be ashamed. The staff were just sitting on the cooler whistling away with absolutely ZERO customers in the place. No sense of urgency or service whatsoever.
I threw this trash away and walked.

The irony is, I went next door to the Chinese Restaurant and they had my full order ready in 5 minutes.

Want to die a slow death by waiting while getting ripped off - go to the “Dog House”.

This is hands down the worst place to eat in Knox!! From the cook flirting with underage girls the whole time I was waiting to soggy food that has been sitting for hours. The last straw was when half of my 7 year old daughter’s cheeseburger bun had mold all over it. The one time I did try to get a refund the owners wouldn’t do it so an employee tried to pay for it because she knew it wasn’t right. Me and family haven’t been back since and I never plan too.

I ordered 3 chicago dogs 1 French fry, sampler platter and 3 scoops ice cream. Came to 26 ish dollars. Drove a distance home. Looked in bag and they did not have te sampler platter ( we were really counting on that). Well the hot dogs were cold in the middle and the bun was cold and not steamed or warmed. We put in microwave 30sec and was fine. Fries were fine. I called and told her and she informed me she did not hear me order ther platter and I asked if the food we got was really almost 30.00.3 chicago dogs and an order of fries and 3 scoops ice cream. We learned the hard way at our expense and we will never go their again. I did not tell her at the time the dogs were cold because the first thing I did was call as soon as I saw no platter. I wished her luck because it will be another shop closing soon in that mall.
