We went there to celebrate my husband's birthday and everything was amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the food and drinks were delicious. The owner and chef came out to greet us which was a nice and professional touch. We will definitely be back. It's worth the drive!!

You don't have to go to New Orleans for great cajun food. Its here in our back yard. The Bistro offers the most flavorful, amazing food. Down to every detail. So flavorful. The staff is so helpful and so very nice. Mike (?) The bartender was so attentive. The owner/ chef is always making sure everything is just perfect.It's just an amazing, cozy, place to eat. With the smooth sounds of jazz playing in the background as you dine on some bourbon chicken with greens, my, my, my. We have fallen in love with the Bistro on the Green. You know, the best part? The owners employees seem to love to work there. That speaks volumes. They will not disappoint.

Our first time at Bistro on the greens. I was amazed to say the least. The atmosphere was very warm and the scenery was spectacular. First of all our waitress Alyssa was wonderful. She knew we were there for the first time. She made us comfortable and gave us information on many dishes. She was so attentive to us along with the owner. He met us at the table to make sure everything was good and we were taken care of. Now for the food. It looked so great when they brought it out honestly I didn’t even think to take a picture but rest assured the presentation was awesome. The food was very delicious and since I’m a southern style eater it was made to protection. . It was like a good Deep South meal but made with elegance. I think I may have told him 5 or 6 times how great it was. We WILL be going back a lot. I believe it may be our go to place from now on. Bravo to the place, the team and the food 👏👏

I love the ambiance in this place! Food is amazing! I asked for a delicious fettuccine Alfredo with blackened salmon.. my server Chey made it happen and it did NOT disappoint! I don’t think I’ll eat it any other way now! Chey gave excellent service and even kept us laughing all night. Overall my friend and I had a fantastic time & will most definitely be back!

My boyfriend and Ioved this place so much until our most recent visit. We are completely shocked at the menu changes! While the waitress did a phenomenal job of providing suggestions from the menu and informed of us new items, she failed to mention that most of the new items were gluten free options are throughout the menu. And, we hate that we missed the GF indication on the menu near our choices. While I think these choices should be an option for those with gluten allergies, who knew that shrimp + catfish + grits would be GF along with ribeye steak, mash, cornbread and biscuits.
The steak platter was cooked to perfection but lacked flavor. The side of greens were very salty, smoked meat is so much better. Our bread was delivered to our table 20+ minutes before our food. All we kept discussing while trying to make the best of our meals, is that the recipes and overall taste has changed a lot.
It’ll be hard for us to crave this place again or we’ll have to go the pasta route and stay away from the entrees and sides. Hopefully it was just an off night. We really used to love it here and feel bad for all the people we’ve recently recommended to give it a try. It’s not the same!
We’re solution-driven, so we’re hoping that the old recipes return as they were the glue to the restaurant or maybe make it an option to have meals be regular or GF. If nothing else, please make sure people are aware of the GF options. Besides that, the ambiance, staff and drinks were fantastic per usual! We’re thankful that the waitress and owner regularly checked in us and at least made our dining experience welcoming and accommodating!

The couple next to us just couldn't stop staring at my plate. The presentation was appealing, but the flavor was top notch. Our waitress, Shay, was so fun and personable. John rounds the place and checks in on his staff and customers. I can't wait to return and try another one of their dishes.
