We visited Drift on Pine in La Porte and had a wonderful experience. The food is excellent; we ordered the Mongolian Beef and the Drift Burger with fries, and both were delicious. The atmosphere is great—relaxed yet refined. We remarked that it would be a perfect place to stop after hitting the nearby bike trails. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and enthusiastic. We highly recommend this spot.

We had our company Holiday Party in The Buoy and it was incredible. The food was delicious and exactly as ordered. The staff members were patient, kind and accommodating. Ashlie was phenomenal when planning the event and helping coordinate what we wanted.

This place is great! I never heard of it before it was recommended by my wife's hairdresser. We decided to check it out. The vibe of the place is awesome! We sat upstairs. Great view of the lake. I ordered a Reuben. Probably the best I ever had. Reasonably priced for the quality. Server was attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be going back!

They posted and advertisement on Facebook about selling allocated bottles of whiskey. Asked via messenger about prices. Was given said prices. I show up to go buy and no one has an idea of price on the bottle. Manager comes back and tells me 5X the price I was given from their direct Facebook page. Food is mediocre here and service is a joke. DO NOT GO HERE!

Ashley gives me 2 different excuses as to it was a typo on her part and that's the reason the place won't post prices on bottles. Laughable. Wouldn't even offer anything to rectify the situation. Awful customer service. False advertisement of prices.

They would not honor the price given on a bottle of bourbon. Don't waste your time here and make sure to not buy bourbon. They price gouge and are terrible at whiskey knowledge. Food is mediocre and service sucks.
Needed a place to meet a friend between Plymouth and Michigan City. We settled on Drift on Pine and it was the first visit for us both. What a neat place! I bet it's amazing on a warm summer night out on the 3rd story deck. Since it was below 30 we ate inside with a view of the lake. We ordered cocktails, an appetizer and entrees. I had a Smoke Show cocktail that was delightful. My wife grabbed a salted caramel porter which was also amazing. We shared a pretzel (which was huge) served warm with three dipping sauces. Everyone enjoyed that. For my main course I split a cheeseburger with my buddy and had a cup of their Drift Chili. It was a brisket-based chili that was pretty good. It was a bit salty for me, but still quite good. Our server was very attentive and helpful with questions. The views and the food would make this a great place for a date. I suspect it would be on my list of places to revisit if I'm in LaPorte again in the future.

When it comes to the best place to eat in laporte. The Drift is where its at. I definitely recommend Ashley she is very attentive and has the best personality to be around. My kids loved how they could enjoy the warm fire and look at pine lake. The food was delicious and well presented. 10/10 recommend!!!

Was not impressed with this place. Went with a group and they brought my husband the wrong meal and my burger was pink. Ended up waited another 30 mins for my husband's correct meal to come out. Which then my meal was cold because obviously didn't want to eat without him. Taste of the food was nothing to get excited about.

Had a great experience here last night. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was excellent—perfectly balanced and one of the better ones I’ve had recently. My wife got the picanha steak and absolutely loved it. They also have a solid bourbon selection and the atmosphere is top-notch: warm, inviting, and perfect for a night out. Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Great food, excellent service and great views of Pine Lake. This was my 3rd visit and have never been disappointed. Hosted a group of 17 people for lunch today and everything ran seamlessly. Fast, friendly and efficient service (Drew), food all came out on time and everyone enjoyed their meals. Will definitely be back soon!
