I love me some bbq and ate at a lot of places in my life but I have to say that this was the worse bbq I have ever had and I got pulled pork, rib tips, half chicken the chicken was ok and the potato salad was awful bake beans were awful. Me and my wife couldn’t eat it

Showed up prior to closing (about 15 minutes) and was told all food was put away. No apologies. Said ‘we are cleaning’. Why not just close at 7:45 if you refuse to serve anyone after that time. Very disappointing!

Smoked chicken 🐔 wing special on Wednesdays. Got a extra side and a drink for $20. And it was excellent. Big and meaty wings.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars to the 2 ladies working there Wednesdays June 4th at 3:40pm and same for the guy dish washer. You guys are awesome, great job. Everyone needs to come down and support this BBQ place. Awesome food with great service.

We have been going to Northside BBQ for years. In the beginning the food was great, service was good and the portions were good size, also the prices were reasonable. The prices have gone up which is understandable but now the portions have gotten MUCH smaller. We paid 26.40 for a full slab rib dinner with two sides...potato salad and baked beans...the sides are now so small that you get maybe 2 teaspoons full...We called them to find out what was up, and the guy told my husband they weigh the amount...weight the amount!!!...they weigh out 2.5 ounces, are you kidding me, because when I weighed it, it was not even 2 ounces!...If you have to weigh sides BECAUSE YOU ARE CHEAP, then you don't need me spending 26.40 on a full slab of ribs and I will take my buisness to a different BBQ place.. you aren't the only place around... Filling that little cup up is NOT going to ruin you, but putting two teaspoonfuls in, just looks cheap and just might ruin you. That full slab dinner went from 21.00 to 26.00 in record time, it's not that great, and sometimes the meat is actually dry. This time the ribs were very good and worth the 26.00 but because the sides were so cheap, we won't be back. Your loss....

I swing by every couple of weeks. Rib and chicken combo is always excellent. Good baked beans and fries. I've tried the nachos once, they were awesome.... I over ate. Lol!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. I was looking forward to enjoying my favorite the pitmaster hot dog. I had ate it a few years ago as it was highly recommend by a local co-worker and finally was in the area once again. I stopped in around 12:30 and there were two tables already seated. The older gentleman and young boy that took my order- asked to take my order but did so in a way that made me feel like it was a hinderance to take my order. Just a pitmaster dog with fries..to go. When my order was up he set it on the counter and said my order was ready, not a thank you, not a see you next time, or have a nice day. I drove around the corner (literally) to enjoy my long awaited meal. I opened my container, found a pitmaster dog that was cold along with the toppings. There was hardly any sauce or cheese and two ( only two) jalapeños. The fries I got were whatever was left in the basket- bits and and over crunchy and ice cold! So, 10 dollars and I was kind enough to tip $2.00 for the poor customer service and ice cold meal. I understand the economy is feeling the pinch of cost inflation, and it comes with a cost to businesses- as a person from the food serivce industry-one would think all business would be appreciated and treated as such. I was very disappointed 😞 and will opt to spend my money elsewhere with better service and appreciation.

Have been here twice in the last couple months and it's a tale of two separate experiences. The first time the food was very good. Sauce was good, chicken was excellent some of the best I've had in the area- ribs were decent as well and brisket was tender and juicy. I'll definitely be back I told my wife. Today, I was back... Not even close to the same experience. Sweet sauce was burnt, chicken wasn't near as good and the ribs were basically terrible. Didn't get brisket this time. Now if I'm gonna be spending $30+, I expect good food. I don't care to go to restaurants that are back and forth, up and down on their food consistency because you never know if you're gonna get good food or get the bad stuff. I may give the place another chance but this time wasn't good. Work on consistency! No one wants to go eat where you spin the wheel and wonder what you'll end up with.....

So I got the Platter and some smoked shrimp. My wife and daughter got a pork and beef combo and rib tips.

Where do I start... the Coleslaw you could tell was soured and had been sitting at a higher temp than it was suppose to be at. The beans are bush's straight from a can and so I the cheese for the fries. The sweet bbq sauce is not sauce... it's straight molasses in a cup. The shrimp had NO smokey flavor and was still shelled with legs and everything. You can't get smokey flavor on the meat if you don't used shucked shrimp.

Anyway... if you can get past all that... the tips were okay and passable for decent bbq but far from the best. Brisket had a good flavor and was better than Dickeys if I have to be positive about it. Was far from the best I've had. Ribs and chicken were dry and the meat did NOT Fall off the bone! Flavor was okay but better bring extra polydent for your real teeth if you wanna chew those. The pulled pork was moist but FLAVORLESS!

DID I MENTION THE COLESLAW THAT WAS ABOUT 63 degrees when it was served to me and soured? Oh and I know it was maybe an hour before closing but come on change the fryer oil please. You can taste it's age in the fries!
