We tried flounder special stuffed with crab. It was delicious. It's rare to find restaurants that provide soup or salad, roll, and dessert with dinner. We always enjoy sitting in the train car.

I've not been here for a while because I've been sick. Today's breakfast was outstanding. The biscuits and gravy special and the feta spinach omelet were tops. The hash browns the best I've had anywhere. They call them hash BROWNS for a good reason. Thank you

Quick stop on our way to a concert at four winds, we didn't want fast food. This came up on our Google search and let me tell u AMAZING! We were immediately seated (party of 5) waitress was very young (18ish) but wow service was on point! She did amazing the food was amazing and for the price very plentiful. Desserts were amazing! I thought the waitress was going to fall over when she got an amazing tip but she was so deserving of every penny. Wish I remembered her name but with our tip she won't forget us! Was last Saturday night about 8-9 pm. This girl gave service like she has done this work for 40+ yrs and with a smile! Thank you

They charge extra if you use a credit card. Really? That's a charge most businesses call a business cost.

This was a to-go order, not dine-in. We ordered ahead and arrived at the specified pickup time, but the food was not ready and took longer than stated.

The woman at the counter wasn’t very friendly — came off a bit arrogant and unwelcoming, which didn’t help the experience, especially when you’re already waiting past the quoted time.

Food-wise, it’s not bad, but it’s not great either — average at best. The omelets were fine, nothing memorable. For nearly $70 for three people, the value just wasn’t there. I would’ve been just as satisfied with a much cheaper breakfast elsewhere.

If you’re on a carnivore diet or sensitive to seed oils, I’d steer clear. This place is basically Seed Oil City, and the food left me feeling off afterward.

Overall: average food, delayed pickup, unfriendly service, and overpriced for what you get. We would have been just as happy with McDonald’s round eggs and sausage patties.

Quintessential Americana diner with old time railroad car motif. Huge, diverse menu (as common to diners). If you don’t know that your meal also includes a small dessert, you’re leaving money on the table. Always good to ask to make sure.

I've been to this restaurant once for breakfast so this review has limitations. Having said that, this is my new favorite restaurant no kidding. The servers were older folks like me and seemed to do their jobs effortlessly. The food was great and I mean that and they accommodated my special requests plus some.

We come to Laporte sometimes and tried Christos last time. My husband and I weren’t a huge fan. When we sat down at this diner, we realized it may be the same owners as Christos and were nervous. Honestly, this place was worse. The inside was pretty nice, people were friendly, and we sat down quick. Our waitress may have been new which we gave credit for, but the food wasn’t the best to me. We had to ask for more to drink. It would take our waitress a long time to come back to us, even when we asked a question. She wouldn’t come back for 15-20 minutes with an answer. It took an hour just to get our food and it was only my husband and I. I got a special that comes with a dessert. She asked if I wanted it with my food, I said yes. She didn’t bring it until the very end and by that time I just wanted to leave. It was expensive and honestly it shouldn’t have been with the service we received.
I hate writing bad reviews but this was insane.

Is the food the best I've ever had? No. But it's not a 5 star restaurant. The food is very good but the best part of this place is the people. The hosts and wait staff are great. We try to come in a couple times per month and the waitress knows exactly what drinks to bring us. Truly good people here.

We were staying at the Hampton Inn due to a snow storm ravaging I80. The hotel recommended Round the Clock for dinner. The food and service was excellent. I had Liver and onions w fried potatoes and chicken dumpling soup. My sister had pork chops with Greek potatoes and very cold salad, which she really appreciated. There were 2 huge chops and she took one with us. The dinners were delicious and enough to fill the hungariest of bellies. We travel I80 twice a year and Round the Clock is a new stop for us.
