Hidden gem!! Grandma back there cookin cookin! Fish and chicken fried to perfection. Greens fire. Mac and cheese fire. Yams 🔥🔥 Peach lemonade 🔥🔥. Our waitress Mya was great. Music was great as well. Clean establishment and great food and vibes!! I’ll be back soon!!!

My husband & I came to Michigan for the weekend. We were hungry & stumbled upon this hidden gem. Was greeted at the door with a friendly & welcoming smile, Mya was our server, she ddnt rush us as we were uncertain, she answered all questions without frustration. Whenever you're in LaPorte,IN and want some delicious homemade food stop in to Soul Food Bistro. Go try them for yourself. The Soul Food bistro!! I had the Bistro chops,Lima beans, candied yams and pineapple lemonade my companion had meatloaf,black eyed peas,yams and hot water corn bread.
