I came in with a group of 5. We got lucky on a weekday and did not need a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes.

Service: The hostess and waitress were both impressive in their professionalism, so it pains me that I cannot remember their names. Service was the epitome of what one would expect. Menus and waters were distributed immediately, and drink orders were placed right away. Appetizers were ordered within only a couple minutes of the drink orders. We were given ample time between appetizer order and food order--such a small thing, but such a huge thing for us, as we were catching up with each. We did not feel rushed at all, but service was able to remain attentive and prompt.

Atmosphere: casual but tasteful and comfortable environment. Many places with cram as many tables as possible in a cramped space, however there was ample room to move through the restaurant without worrying about bumping another patron.

Food: we ordered 2 appetizers, 5 entrees, 5 desserts, and 5 drinks. I will only attest to the food I ate, but all the meals looked sumptuous. I got an Enzo's old fashioned, which was pretty good for an old fashioned. I also partook in the spinach & artichoke dip. The dip was excellently done, with browned cheese layered on top. The Italian flatbread was the perfect dipper. Also of note was the nearly ideal ratio of dip to bread--often I find that I am served too much bread for a paltry amount of dip or vice versa. For my entree, I had the Stuffed Chicken Del Giorno. This was also delicious, though I felt the risotto stuffing was a little less than I liked. The chicken was moist, risotto cooked well, mashed potatoes fluffy & seasoned well. For dessert, I got the tiramisu. Fluffy, tasty, & honestly quite a large portion.

All in all, I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves delicious food & welcoming atmosphere. Depending on your order, our bills ranged from $30-50 per person. You could pretty easily eat as cheap as $20/person if that's something to consider.

We ordered 2 small Caesar salads, stuffed chicken del giorno, orecchiette enzo with chicken and 2 chocolate mousse for pickup on a Thursday evening. It was a little pricey but so worth it. It was ready in about 20 minutes and bagged to keep the hot items hot and the cold items cold.

I love to support local business. The food is good. It's not the best Italian food of my life but it's good. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere is nice. I would recommend this place to someone looking for Italian food in LaPorte, IN.
