The fish is excellent always. The service is can be a bit slow. Our waitress didn't bring us the correct salad or bring our bills as I had to chase her down. Don't let that discourage you from trying the food!
This place has some really good food quite a lot of it is homemade, I don't know about all of it, but I am not surprised it is. The food tastes good and the atmosphere is feels very homey. But I do recommend if you are into sea food and small town restaurants. It is a good spot to grab a bite to
I used to go the Fish of Stroh when I lived in Fort Wayne. Since those are gone, my husband and I decided to go to the original. The filets are smaller than I remember, but the taste was wonderful. Tarter sauce was as good as I remember. My husband got the hush puppies and he loved them. Sweet and crunchy. The server was extremely friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be making another trip here!
