Amazing atmosphere great wine and food!
I've been to this place twice and probably won't return since both experiences were negative.
The first time I went was with my husband (we live not far away but hadn't had time to visit the place). It was on a Monday night and therefore there weren't many people. The waiters were very attentive. However, as for the food and drinks, they left a lot to be desired. The lobster roll, which costs $19, was horrible and in a hotdog bun, it was colder than anything. My husband's drink, the spicy watermelon, was delicious, but I ordered the pomegranate mojito and it was very bad (no mint and just tasted like syrup). Therefore, we felt that the price didn't match the quality.
The second time I went was because a friend took me since the place was close by and she wanted to try it (I didn't say anything and decided to give it a second chance). We went on a Wednesday around 5:15 p.m. The service was slow and terrible. And so we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender served us rudely, the wait was over half an hour (we were only drinking wine and beer). The bill, including the 15% tip, came to a total of $36... but after another half hour of being completely ignored, I dropped the $40 I'd paid and wasn't even interested in getting my change.
Tasting and a Pickle pizza
This is a beautiful space! Being from Missour originally, I'm familiar with a lot of the grape varietals that they had at this winery. I'm going to be honest, the estate wines were hit or miss for me. Their rose was very drinkable. My friends got flights of their reds. Most of those weren't my favorite. This is just my personal preferences though. I always say, to each their own. That being said, the ambience of this place is amazing. Find something you like to drink here and spend a few hours. You won't regret it.
Went this past week during their singo event. We had called initially to check if they were open due to the rainy weather. The lady on the phone was great and we had experienced her in the past and she was always helpful.
Unfortunately, when we arrived, the young hostess, with dark hair, at the front wasn't the best we've encountered from this place. She didn't smile or have much of a welcoming attitude. She asked what we were in for and said we'd like to sit and eat. She told us to head to the main room if we wanted to join Singo and eat. Otherwise we could sit outside somewhere... in the rain. She didnt offer to show us seating outside the covered patio that wasn't the courtyard. Which was mentioned on the phone by the previous lady. We had our little one so we knew certain areas were 21 and over. When we said we'd be ok sitting inside, she placed us darn near right in front of the speakers for the singo. A little bummed as there were some tables near the back that were empty. However, she sat us and quickly walked away before we could ask if those tables were open or reserved for someone else.
That was strike 1 of this experience. The second strike was parts of our food were cold but our waitress was hardly to be seen or even able to flag her down since she was constantly looking anywhere but us. Finally near the end of our dinner she was more present.
The wine here is amazing as always and I'll keep coming back for that. Otherwise, I wasn't too happy about the initial greeting and dining experience. The singo event was fine and I enjoyed that part. I think the lead up could have been better.
This is always a go to place to celebrate an elders birthday. Love it. Just don’t like that the duck food is usually empty, it’s the one thing my kids look forward to when we go😂. Also they have all these spots to order food, but they are closed and you have to order inside. Great place to decompress and have a good glass of wine and charcuterie board haha!
Kip was amazing. He was by himself at the bar rail and very attentive. Great reccomendations, very kind, and quick
Great social area, music area, great food. The wine is wonderful and the vodka drinks awesome!
We had gone in June 2025.
All four in my group got a set of four samples and we shared. Sooooo good!
Had a charcuterie board with our wine.
A bit pricey but worth doing as a treat!
They have a distillery also! We didn't drink at that part; we didn't have a full meal either. But options!
Beautiful place! Too hot to sit in their lovey courtyard.
Will make the effort to go back when we visit Indiana another time.
We have been here many times. Always great food and great wines. Staff is friendly. Lots of seating. Relaxing atmosphere.

Celebrating our anniversary..first time here. Reserved a table for 15 got the best seats!!food was excellent..had the old fashion and it was pretty good. The pecan one my friends loved. Only bad thing was we couldn't do shots lol...all around had a great experience.. cougar hunter band is always top notch!!!
Hard to enjoy the seating at the lake, with a child scream crying at the top of his lungs for 10minutes straight. Parent did nothing. Even after the staff came by to tell the rest of the party to move away from the water.
Seems like they weren’t supposed to be on the lake doing a photo shoot anyways. Definitely shouldn’t have had their kids emptying the shoreline, dumping rocks into the water for 20min. No respect for the property or the other patrons. Said something but not sure if they could comprende.
Ordered the Breakfast Barrel Smashburger with a Mimosa Flight. (No judgy!) I couldn't eat it all but every bite was absolutely amazing. Now I know I like the original Mimosa the best, but the Flight was worth the journey for sure.
Must stop!!!
Winery and distillery, great food options, wonderful outdoor seating with live music!!
Love the wines, cocktails & food, but pls for Gods sake, turn down the mic for your live performances. There's literally no reason for them to be that loud when the venue is small. I shouldn't have to yell or stop talking to my group because I can't hear over the band.
